Neon has released the trailer for Anora, the Palme d'Or winner at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.Helmed by Sean Baker, the comedy-drama stars Mikey Madison and Mark Eidelstein as Anora/Ani, a stripper, and Ivan "Vanya" Zakharov, the son of a Russian oligarch. The pair get involved in a whirlwind romance, fall in love and elope, however Ivan's parents are unhappy with the marriage and travel to New York to force him into getting an annulment.The film become the first American film to take home the Palme d'Or since 2011, earning a 10-minute standing ovation at the end of its screening at Cannes.Watch the trailer above.
