Chelsea see off Palace
Chelsea played host to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Frank Lampard’s side headed into the tie in fine form and on the back of an emphatic 4-4 draw with Ajax in midweek.
Chelsea would, temporarily at least, move up o 2nd in the Premier League if they beat Palace.
The Blues did exactly that. After struggling to break a compact Crystal Palace side down, Tammy Abraham eventually put Chelsea in front seven minutes after the interval.
Pulisic then put the result beyond doubt, making it 2-0 in the 79th minute.

However, despite his positive outing vs the Eagles, Frank Lampard chose to withdraw the American shortly after his goal.
Lampard has since revealed in his post-match press conference that Pulisic picked up a slight hip injury during Saturday’s game.
Lampard praises @tammyabraham and @cpulisic_10 after their goals today. He says Pulisic was first class and was great to watch, with the only frustration a slight hip injury the American has picked up. #CHECRY
