Live sports and entertainment titan Sukeban is bringing its popular Anime-focused wrestling exhibition to the city of Los Angeles, merging “Japanese female pro-wrestling with anime, fashion, beauty, and music.”

Sukeban’s female wrestling event will take over Anime Expo in downtown Los Angeles this July, welcoming several Japanese wrestlers to battle it out in the ring. The action-packed and drama-filled event will present a five fight card in partnership with TikTok, culminating in a world championship title fight to determine the winner of Anime Expo 2025.

Retired Japanese professional wrestler Bull Nakano has been appointed as league commissioner, overseeing fights across Japan and the United States. Sukeban World Champion Sareee Bomb of the Cherry Bomb Girls is scheduled to fight against Maya Mamushi of the Harajuku Stars to defend her title. Additional group members, including Vandals, Dangerous Liaisons, and Harajuku Stars, will also appear at the four-day LA event. Renowned fighters Ichigo Sayaka, Crush Yuu, Atomic Banshee, Midnight Player, Queen of Hearts, and Stray Cat will compete against rival wrestlers as well.

Sukeban’s female wrestling event will be held at Anime Expo in Los Angeles from July 3-6, with the Live Championship Title Match scheduled for July 5. Tickets are available via ShowClix now.
