Marvel Studios has publicly debuted the Avengers: Doomsday trailer featuring Chris Hemsworth’s Thor.
In the short visual, the Asgardian God of Thunder can be seen walking through the woods as he recites a prayer to his father, Odin. Thor asks for the strength to “defeat one more enemy” before going home to his adopted daughter, Love. “Not as a warrior, but as warmth. To teach her not battle, but stillness — the kind I never knew,” he prays.
The trailer then closes out with the announcement that Thor will return for Doomsday, followed by a countdown.
Marvel’s trailer for Thor arrives shortly after the first Doomsday teaser that confirmed the return of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers. As we previously shared, Steve could play a substantial role in the events of the upcoming film.
