Automotive collectors have a rare opportunity to acquire a true modern marvel as an ultra-exclusive 2023 Ferrari 812 Competizione “Tailor Made” officially heads to auction. Handled by RM Sotheby’s for its upcoming Miami event, the highly personalized Italian supercar represents the pinnacle of Maranello’s front-engined, naturally aspirated V12 lineage and arrives with an estimated hammer price between $1.8 million and $2 million USD.

Limited to just 999 examples worldwide, this specific chassis was further elevated through Ferrari‘s prestigious Tailor Made customization program. The exterior is draped in a striking extra-range Prugna Opaco (matte plum) paint job, perfectly contrasted by Oro Opaco (matte gold) longitudinal racing stripes and Matte Gold forged racing wheels. Inside the cabin, the racing seats and luggage straps are trimmed in premium Poltrona Frau Heritage Castagno leather, offset by Nero Alcantara, carbon fiber accents, and Matte Gold Dreamlines on the paddle shifters.

Beyond its breathtaking aesthetics, the vehicle features several bespoke nods to Ferrari’s rich racing heritage. Keen observers will note a Matte Gold “38” behind the windows—a direct reference to the 38 turns of the Circuit de la Sarthe at Le Mans. Under the carbon-finned hood, the air filter boxes of the thunderous 819-horsepower V12 engine bear the silver ink signatures of current Formula 1 drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. Rounding out the custom touches is a carbon fiber door sill kickplate inscribed with the Italian motto: Campa un giorno e campalo bene (Live each day and live it well).

Retaining single ownership and displaying just 2,361 miles on the odometer, the 2023 Ferrari 812 Competizione “Tailor Made” will be offered via RM Sotheby’s at its upcoming Miami auction.
