Neurosis have added three live dates to their reunion beyond their already announced appearance at this year’s Fire in the Mountains festival.
The additional Neurosis dates include a September 5th date in Asheville, North Carolina, supporting a reunited Acid Bath alongside Melvins and a reunited Kylesa, as well as two headlining dates in their Bay Area home of San Francisco on October 16th and 17th. Tickets for the headlining shows go on sale Friday, July 17th, at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster, while the Acid Bath show is available via eTix.
Their previously announced showing at Fire in the Mountains, set for July 23rd-26th at Red Eagle Campground in East Glacier, Montana, sees the band joined by Baroness, YOB, Enslaved, Sixteen Horsepower, Amigo the Devil, and more. Enslaved even produced a single for the event with Blackfoot singer Kevin Kicking Woman titled “Spirit Helper.”

Neurosis have also promised more live date announcements in the coming weeks, building off of the shared excitement surrounding their newest album An Undying Love for a Burning World which surprise-dropped on March 20th to universal acclaim. We named the album not only one of the 20 best hard rock and heavy metal albums of the year thus far but also the No, 1 album overall across all genres.
For their reunion, Neurosis feature new singer Aaron Turner (ISIS, SUMAC, Old Man Gloom), who has replaced founding frontman Scott Kelly. The upcoming shows will mark the band’s first concerts in seven years.
