The second night of the rapper’s highly anticipated three-show residency drew a record-breaking 45,832 fans, eclipsing the previous night’s turnout and cementing the 25th anniversary of The Blueprint as a monumental cultural moment.
The Saturday night performance served as a career-spanning celebration centered around his seminal 2001 masterpiece. Addressing critics who accused him of commercial compromise, JAY-Z jokingly told the crowd, “They say I sold out… Yeah, I did sell out. Three nights. I sold Yankee Stadium the hell out.” The crowd, which included star-studded attendees like Dave Chappelle, Gabrielle Union, and Jayson Tatum, witnessed a series of high-profile guest appearances.
