Breakout Tokyo artist Sarina drops The Fool EP: listen

Race with no end” and “If you need me to be the villain (Then maybe I am)”.

The cinematic title track “Fool’s Gold” finds Sarina flexing her powerful vocals. About it, she shares:

‘Fools Gold’ is my most powerful song to date. It’s about the smoke and mirrors of glamour and the rot that hides beneath. It’s easy to paint pretty colours on top of festering wounds, to cover and hide and boast when deep down we feel the sickness, the decay, the lie of it all. That’s why the song is called ‘fools’ gold. It’s not real, the shine, the value, none of it is real. It’s just a facade.

I find this EP is amazing in every aspect. For those who have followed the artist’s musical journey, it highlights her tremendous growth.

Sarina channels the raw energy of pop-punk, creating a style which is uniquely hers — The Fool being a proper exhibition. As you stream the 6-track EP, be sure to keep up with Sarina by following her on social media platforms like Instagram.
