According to Deadline, Sharon Osbourne is exiting the CBS show “The Talk” following her emotional defense of pal Piers Morgan‘s criticism of Meghan Markle. After completing an internal a probe into the situation, the network released a statement saying that Osbourne decided herself to depart the show. The statement reads: “The events of the March 10 broadcast were upsetting to everyone involved, including the audience watching at home. As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon‘s behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10 episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace. We also did not find any evidence that CBS executives orchestrated the discussion or blindsided any of the hosts. “At the same time, we acknowledge the Network...

Soul Diminished – CELESTIAL SANCTUARY

RATING: 8.5/10 A self-proclaimed part of a nascent but hugely promising New Wave Of British Death Metal, CELESTIAL SANCTUARY are instantly recognizable as the real deal. Everything about “Soul Diminished” is bang on the old-school money. From a production that combines the muscular impact of modernity with plenty of raw clangor, to perfectly conceived riffs that evoke the unique stench of AUTOPSY and BOLT THROWER without ever sounding directly derivative, this comes closer to sounding like some lost classic from the early ’90s than any comparable album in recent memory. Ultimately, you can’t fake this kind of true-to-the-bone brutality: CELESTIAL SANCTUARY have that all-important swagger and swing that is so often polished away from modern death metal by technology....

Stream it below. “Working with Jackie Venson on ‘Dreams’ was such a cool experience,” the band wrote on Instagram earlier today. “We knew she would add something special, but the session flowed so naturally and led to the magic that this tune is today. Julien Baker Brings Us Close to Little Oblivions at Nashville’s Analog: Review

Got Enough Gas: There’s music that makes you think and music that makes you want to move, and there’s Julien Baker. The songwriter has an uncanny talent for considering the underlying motivations for her own feelings and actions, and the result is often visceral music that hypnotizes the attention of the listener and prompts self-reflection, sometimes feeling deeply difficult and deeply healing at once — which is maybe part of the point. Baker released Little Oblivions last month and received instant praise for its bold and self-conscious digs into complex questions of addiction, survival, mental illness, and second chances. The album marked an evolution for Baker’s music into a fuller band sound, after she probed the depths of acoustic alt-folk in her first two albums and united her talen...

Sharon Osbourne will no longer be doing any talking on CBS’ daytime show The Talk. Morgan questioned the authenticity of Markle’s statements about having suicidal thoughts and experiencing racism within the royal family. Underwood asked Osbourne, “What would you say to peop...

After receiving a resounding stamp of approval from the electronic music community, the fabled bass music producer returns with one of the aforementioned unreleased tunes, entitled “Dominate.”  “Dominate” is relentless right from the start, yet it takes a different route than what fans have come to expect from Space Laces. Kicking off with a crisp percussive intro, a myriad of frenetic samples leads listeners into a ruthless bass house drop. The second drop cuts into half-time, decimating listeners with an onslaught of glitchy synths and saturated kicks.  While “Dominate” i...
