New trio STONER, formed by desert rock and ex-KYUSS legends Brant Bjork and Nick Oliveri, along with Ryan Güt, released a new concert film, “Live In The Mojave Desert: Vol IV”, on March 20. A performance clip of the song “Own Yer Blues” can be seen below. This was the final stream of the “Live In The Mojave Desert” series, deep in the heart of the California wilderness, which included additional performances from EARTHLESS, NEBULA, SPIRIT MOTHER and MOUNTAIN TAMER. Echo released the second design in its “Kiss Poster Series” with the legendary Frank Kozik on Friday, March 19. “For this amazing opportunity, I wanted to combine the raw energy of a great comic book cover with the power of KISS and rock and roll,” said Kozik. “It being for a show in Japan, I naturally had to make the giant robots! The surviving members of the classic lineup of TWISTED SISTER — Dee Snider, Jay Jay French, Eddie Ojeda and Mark “The Animal” Mendoza — reunited virtually on Saturday, March 20 for a special episode of Mendoza‘s Internet TV show “22 Now”. The hour-and-a-half-long program was a tribute to the band’s late drummer A.J. Pero, who died exactly six years earlier at the age of 55 while on tour with the band ADRENALINE MOB. His Roots Are in Italy Mascolo is from Modena, Italy. In an interview with Icon, he explained that he tries to spend half the year in Italy and half the year in Los Angeles. During the coronavirus pandemic, Mascolo and Thorne were unfortunately separated due to quarantine, with Mascolo staying safe with his family in Italy. G-house aficionado BIJOU has been on his grind for the past year. After releasing his Diamond City album and over a dozen singles, the Phoenix-based DJ has returned to Night Bass for his 3-track 187 Proof EP. Providing classic boisterous and groovy G-house beats, the EP is equal parts fun and raucous. BIJOU kicks things off with a danceable track called “Big Racks.” The lively beat consists of a driving bassline, powerful claps, and the swagged-out vocals of Buffalo rapper Elcamino. Next, J. Sirus joins BIJOU for “Zodiac,” which features a saturated bassline, bouncy hi hats, and smooth bars courtesy of the Sacramento hip-hop artist.
