LACUNA COIL singer Cristina Scabbia has explained the band’s decision to take part in an initiative dubbed “L’Ultimo Concerto?” (Last Concert) to highlight the increasingly uncertain future of music venues. Instead of delivering live performances as part of a scheduled free virtual stream on Saturday, February 27, each of around 130 Italian artists was filmed taking the stage at a different venue and then standing there in silence as a way of commemorating the one-year mark since the first Italian venues closed. An attorney has asked authorities to launch a criminal investigation against Clifford “T.I.” Harris, and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris (T&T) after dozens of women have come forward with allegations of sexual abuse. According to a press release from New York-based T.A. Blackburn Law, more than 30 women have contacted him and have accused the couple and their associates of “forced drugging, kidnapping, rape, and intimidation” in at least two states including California and Georgia. Attorney Tyrone A. Rammstein did indeed record a new album during lockdown, affirms keyboardist Christian “Flake” Lorenz in a new interview. The confirmation comes after the German industrial metal band had shared images from the studio last year. Originally, Rammstein had intended to spend much of 2020 on the road, including their first-ever full-scale stadium tour of North America. Due to the pandemic, touring was put on hold, and the band found itself with a lot of time on its hands. R Kelly Receives Coronavirus Vaccine in Prison
R Kelly no longer has to worry about contracting the coronavirus in prison while awaiting his upcoming federal sex crimes trials. TMZ reports that the disgraced singer is now fully inoculated from the virus after receiving his second dose from the Bureau of Prisons at MCC Chicago. Kelly and his attorney had expressed concern that the singer would contract the coronavirus while in prison, and had petitioned the court for a temporary release. In a motion filed in April 2020, Kelly’s attorney argued that the his confinement during the pandemic was “tantamount to making [him] drink poison,” citing “substandard” sanitation within the prison and difficultly in practicing social distancing. Benny the Butcher has announced a new EP. It’s called The Plugs I Met 2 and is scheduled to come out on March 19th. The Plugs I Met 2 will be the first record the Butcher has dropped since putting out Burden of Proof in October 2020. As the title suggests, this new EP will serve as a sequel of sorts to his The Plugs I Met, which came out back in 2019. So far, the only name attached to The Plugs I Met 2 is Harry Fraud, who will serve as the EP’s producer.
