Diddy Sues Sean John for $25 Million

Source: Rob Kim / Getty Sean “Diddy” Combs is suing his own (former) clothing brand. Reportedly, the Bad Boy Records founder and mogul is suing Sean for a cool $25 million. AllHipHop reports that Diddy filed a complaint in Manhatten on Thursday (Feb. 4) against his former clothing brand. Also named in a complaint is Sean John’s new owner Global Brands Group (GBG USA). Diddy claims Sean John and GBG USA illegally used Diddy’s likeness in the launch of a new women’s clothing line called Missguided. Diddy also claims the company made statements in promotion of the brand that were attributed to him that he never actually made. “[Diddy] does not challenge [Sean John/GBG’s] right to use the Sean John trademark, but rather [Sean John/GBG’s] decision to leverage a fabricated quote they created and...

Edgeless Empress Of Coonery Candace Owens Considering Presidential Run?

Source: Bloomberg / Getty Candace Owens is like a political cold sore, she just doesn’t go away. The conservative pundit’s latest grand plan hints at a potential presidential run in 2024, which could get in the way of her buddy Donald Trump’s plans to run once more. Over the weekend, Owens, 31, tweeted out her potential run for president but it seems like more of a fleeting thought than anything. “I love America. Thinking about running for President,” Owens wrote, using an American Flag emoji as an accent, catching the eye of her 2.5 million followers. It wasn’t immediately clear if she is vying for a run in 2024 or beyond, but it should be noted that she has not held an elected office position. Owens has made similar utterances in the past, including last November where she responded to a...

The Trailer For ‘The Falcon And The Winter Soldier’ Goes Hard

Source: Marvel / Disney Weeks after Disney+ rekindled our love for the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the premiere of their WandaVision series, comic book fanboys are about to get a shot of adrenaline as the action-packed The Falcon And The Winter Soldier is set to debut next month. Last night (Feb. 8) during the Super Bowl, we got another full trailer for the series starring Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson/The Falcon) and Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier) and needless to say we’re hella excited. Seemingly picking up where Avengers: Endgame left off, Sam and Bucky have to learn to live and work with each other in a world without their BFF, Captain America. These two will certainly have their hands full even with Thanos off the grid, though. Baron Zemo (Daniel Bruhl) onc...

KORN’s BRIAN ‘HEAD’ WELCH On Dealing With Pandemic: ‘All Of This That We’re Going Through Is Like A Reset For Us’

Revolver magazine recently connected with KORN guitarist Brian “Head” Welch via Instagram for a candid chat about creativity, inspiration and the challenges of staying sane in our crazy times. Asked what advice he had for people who were losing hope during the coronavirus pandemic, Welch said (see video below): “There’s a wise text from way back in the past that says, ‘Let patience have its perfect work, and then you’ll be lacking nothing.’ “I think all of this that we’re going through is like a reset for us. And if we [can hold on] and be patient — I know everyone’s been patient, waiting for this to go away. But I don’t think it’s gonna be much longer. Hopefully by summer, it’s just gonna start opening and whatn...

REX BROWN Says ZAKK WYLDE Wouldn’t Be Involved In Hypothetical PANTERA Tribute Tour

Rex Brown says that Zakk Wylde wouldn’t be involved with a hypothetical tour celebrating the music of PANTERA. The former PANTERA bassist discussed the band’s legacy during a new interview with Eonmusic. Speaking about how huge PANTERA would be if the band was able to tour now, Rex said: “It would be sold-out stadium shows. Offers still come in for Philip [Anselmo, former PANTERA singer] and I to do it if we wanted to, but if you don’t have the other guys in the band, it’s not going to sound the same. If we were ever to do something like that, it would have to be spot-on, or I wouldn’t do it. It would be a tribute.” When Eonmusic interviewer Eamon O’Neill added that he wasn’t about to ask the usual question about a reunion with Wylde taking t...

Riddles, Ruins & Revelations – SIRENIA

RATING: 7.5/10 Symphonic metal is more popular than ever right now, which should mean that bands as consistent and distinctive as SIRENIA finally get the recognition they deserve. The Norwegians have arguably suffered a little for being so good at what they do, which is a fervently traditional take on the genre, but one infused with plenty of character and atmosphere. While other bands have veered off towards either pop or prog territory, SIRENIA have largely stuck to their guns, albeit with enough subtle evolution to keep the faithful hooked. Consequently, “Riddles, Ruins & Revelations” is a surprise. Not a huge, shit-your-pants-and-scream surprise, but a small and oddly satisfying surprise, like discovering some cash in a discarded sock. In capable hands, tiny changes can...

Courtney Cox Totally Nailed This Cover of Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘Drivers License’

In the latest in her series of at-home covers, Courtney Cox slipped behind her piano to rip off a cover of Olivia Rodrigo’s runaway smash “Drivers License” with some assistance from her pal Joel Taylor on acoustic guitar. And, damn all the jellyfish, they nailed it. The acoustic, instrumental take on the breakout hit of the winter from the High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star gets a makeover from the pair, who play along to Rodrigo’s vocals as two of Cox’s dogs look on. “Even my dogs love this song,” Cox wrote in a caption to an Instagram post of the performance. Cox had been spending her time during the COVID-19 lockdown to flex her musical skills, including a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Silver Springs” with Taylor and...

Ariana Grande Replaces Herself Atop Pop Airplay Chart as ’34+35′ Dethrones ‘Positions’

Prior to Grande, four acts supplanted themselves atop Pop Airplay, which ranks weekly plays, as tabulated by MRC Data, on a panel of over 160 mainstream top 40 radio stations. Halsey last swapped songs at No. 1 when “Eastside,” with Benny Blanco and Khalid, replaced her own “Without Me” in March 2019. Grande was involved in the last such switch before Halsey’s, as Grande’s “Problem,” featuring Iggy Azalea, took over for Azalea’s “Fancy,” featuring Charli XCX, in July 2014. Previously, OutKast’s “The Way You Move,” featuring Sleepy Brown, ended the Pop Airplay reign of the pair’s “Hey Ya!” in 2004, while Mariah Carey’s “One Sweet Day,” with Boyz II Men, replaced her own &#...

Notably, Sullivan and Church’s performance marked the first Super Bowl duet in over a decade. H.E.R. also shined with her rocking rendition of “America The Beautiful.” “I was super nervous but I wanted to bring my flavor to it,” the Grammy winner said. “To be alongside someone like Jazmine, for two black women to be up there, was a powerful message.” Though he was not physically present at the 2021 Super Bowl, Maluma was also spotted as part of Michelob Ultra’s Super Bowl LV commercial. “I’m in Miami. That was one of my biggest dreams to be at the Super Bowl and I understand, The Weeknd had to do his thing and the whole show was on fire but of course, I wanted to be there,” the Colombian artist said. “I wanted to perform [the] ‘Hawai’ remix, I’m not gonna lie.” He continued: “I would love ...
