Keyboardist/vocalist Martin Kames and guitarist/vocalist Bernth Brodträger of Austrian duo CUESTACK, who recently collaborated with David Hasselhoff on his first metal song “Through The Night”, went on the podcast “Side Jams With Bryan Reesman”. They spoke about their music, as well as their work in video editing, lighting and video design, and graphic design. It turns out that Brodträger was previously a touring member in extreme metal band BELPHEGOR and currently plays in SEILER UND SPEER, one of the biggest pop bands in Austria. MICHAEL SWEET And CHRIS JERICHO Criticize Democrat Pastor For Ending Congressional Prayer With ‘Amen And Awoman’

STRYPER‘s Michael Sweet and FOZZY‘s Chris Jericho have criticized a U.S. Congressman’s “light-hearted” attempt to be inclusive on Sunday, when he wrapped up a prayer in the House of Representatives with the words “Amen and awomen,” saying it was “a perfect example of going way too far.” Missouri Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, a United Methodist pastor from Kansas City, delivered the opening prayer for the 117th Congress and ended it by saying, “We ask it in the name of the monotheistic God, Brahma, and ‘god’ known by many names, by many different faiths. Amen and awoman.” The word “Amen” comes from the Hebrew language, in which it means “certainty,” “truth” and “so be it,” a...

Snails Drops Spine-Tingling Teaser Previewing His Next Chapter

After spending much of 2020 off the radar, Snails has emerged from his shell to tease the start of what looks to be an intriguing new chapter. In his first tweet in over six months, Snails dropped a trailer welcoming fans to his “new world.” The famed dubstep and bass music producer’s clip is both exciting and spine-chilling as it depicts one of his signature slugs slithering its way out of a hollowed out eye socket. Snails additionally changed his defaults on social media to sport a similarly slug-infested look.  As though those images weren’t ominous enough, the slow-building audio will have you firmly gripping the edge of your seat. Likely an indication of new music soon to arrive, Snails showcases just enough to prove his bellowing “vomitstep” s...

Space Wizard Releases Experimental Trap EP On Subtronics’ New Cyclops Recordings Imprint

Space Wizard has busted his way onto the scene via Subtronics‘ new Cyclops Recordings imprint with an aggressively mind-bending EP, The Marble Room. A concise three-track offering, the EP takes listeners down an increasingly experimental bass music path with each passing moment. The producer spent the better part of 2020 hitting us with consistent singles, but his first pass at a long-form project showcases his versatility more than previous efforts.  The EP’s opener, the titular track, sets the stage with ambient textures as sweeping waves of white noise usher in a fierce, grinding bassline. It’s easily Space Wizard’s most aggressive tune on the project, which is followed by the offbeat technological tinkering of “Deactivation Sequence....

COVID-19 Conspiracy Theorists Thought Guitar Pedal Was a 5G Chip Blueprint

In the latest edition of reality being more absurd than our wildest imaginations, COVID-19 conspiracy theorists tricked themselves into thinking that the electrical schematics of a common guitar pedal were the master plans behind 5G mind control. It’s literally as ridiculous as it sounds, but here’s the context. In case you’re blissfully unaware, there’s a dangerously prevalent theory abound that the new towers for 5G cellphone service are responsible for spreading COVID-19. In fact, federal agents are investigating whether anti-5G sentiments could have been a potential motive for the Christmas Day Nashville bombing, which went down right near an AT&T building. This baseless connection between an airborne disease and a cellphone service obviously has real-world implications, but believ...

Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch Sells for $22 Million

In literal, not-at-all metaphorical news, an exuberant ode to childhood imagination has been stripped down and sold to a billionaire collector. According to Wall Street Journal,  Michael Jackson’s famed 2,700 acre Neverland Ranch has been bought by grocery store tycoon Ron Burkle for $22 million. The sprawling estate is located in Los Olivos, California, on the edge of Los Padres National Forest. Jackson was introduced to the property in 1983 by Paul McCartney, who stayed there during a music video shoot. Jackson made it his own in 1988, after which he transformed it into a carnivalesque fantasy land with amusement park rides, electric trains, and even a private zoo. Jackson wanted Neverland to be a time machine, allowing him to enjoy the childhood he felt he’d been denied. It also ho...

Alice Cooper Writes and Performs Song for the Late Harry Nilsson’s Ailing Son Zak: Watch

Cooper sang the touching song in a surprise appearance on an episode of YouTube program Coffee Talk With ADIKA Live when Zak was a guest on the show to discuss his experience with cancer, chemotherapy, and end-of-life care. During the conversation, Cooper appears in his signature suit and top hat, singing the song in a piano / show-tune style, much like Harry Nilsson’s classic pop hits. “Your dad would write a song about you that everyone could sing,” Cooper lets out during the song’s a cappella bridge. Zak recently entered hospice rather than continue treatment, so “Coffee Talk” hosts Stefan Adika ...
