KISS frontman Paul Stanley recently spoke to SPIN about how he has been dealing with the coronavirus crisis and what he expects life to be like post-pandemic. “Initially, I was in shock,” Stanley admitted. “I think it just was so surreal that it kind of stopped everybody in their tracks and we had to get reoriented. GODSMACK drummer Shannon Larkin says that he and his bandmates had “fun” on tour with MÖTLEY CRÜE, despite the fact that the two groups have engaged in a decade-long public feud. The tension between GODSMACK frontman Sully Erna and MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx began when they clashed during the 2009 “Crüe Fest 2” tour, on which GODSMACK was a support act and CRÜE was the headliner. Grimes Announces New Miss Anthropocene Remix Album
Back in February, Grimes dropped Miss Anthropocene, one of our favorite albums of 2020. Now, nearly one whole year later, she has announced a corresponding remix album. Tailor-made for the clubs, Miss Anthropocene Rave Edition is due out January 1st, as Pitchfork reports. The 11-track effort includes reworks from pop producer and longtime associate BloodPop (Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber) and hip-hop artist Channel Tres. However, the bulk of the project comes courtesy of veteran dance music producers such as Modeselektor and techno/tech-house heavyweights Richie Hawtin, Tale of Us, and ANNA.
