JINJER Drops Music Video For ‘Home Back’
Ukrainian modern metal metallers JINJER have released the official music video for the fan-favorite track “Home Back”, the seventh single taken from their critically acclaimed studio album “Macro”. The clip was directed by the Kiev, Ukraine-based duo Ingwar Dovgoteles and Lina Volokhova, and was filmed in Kiev. “Home Back” is not only a testament to JINJER‘s creativity and drive to continuously raise the bar musically as a band, but also an audiovisual statement against war and a very personal topic for each bandmember. KISS recently announced a New Year’s Eve concert at the Atlantis resort in Dubai. Landmarks Live Presents will produce the show live from The Royal Beach at Atlantis Dubai. The show producers claim the event, which will apparently attempt to set the world’s record for largest pyro, will be filmed with more than 50 cameras and 360-degree views. MASTODON Taps Producer DAVID BOTTRILL For New Album
Atlanta progressive metallers MASTODON have recruited David Bottrill (TOOL, STAIND) to produce their eighth studio album. The follow-up to 2017’s “Emperor Of Sand” is being recorded at West End Sound, which is located inside of Ember City, the rehearsal facility that members of MASTODON manage in Atlanta. MASTODON‘s new disc will mark the band’s first collection of new material since the death of longtime manager Nick John and the passing of tour manager Bob Dallas. David Bowie’s Unreleased Covers of John Lennon and Bob Dylan Will Finally Be Unearthed for 74th Birthday
Even beyond the grave, David Bowie continues to gift us new music. On January 8th, what would have been his 74th birthday, two previously unreleased covers will be made available to the public for the very first time. The first is Bowie’s take on “Mother”, the 1970 track from John Lennon. This cover was originally recorded in 1998 with the Thin White Duke’s longtime producer Tony Visconti. It was supposed to appear on a Lennon tribute collection, but the release never came to fruition. Meanwhile, the second offering is a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Tryin’ to Get to Heaven”, taken from his 1997 Grammy-winning album Time Out of Mind.
