Disney+ is bringing some much-needed Soul to Christmas. Yes, on December 25th, the Mouse House is rolling out its would-be Pixar blockbuster on their streaming service. Unlike this past September’s release of Mulan, however, Soul will be completely free to subscribers. Consider it a gift from Mickey. Of course, that’s not the only present to unwrap this month. There’s also Jillian Bell’s new comedy Godmothered, the exhaustively titled High School Musical: The Musical: The Holiday Special, and the remaining episodes of The Mandalorian Season 2. Editors’ Picks Elsewhere, nostalgics can enjoy watching Tom Hanks play Josh Baskin in Big, head to the clouds with Kurt Russell in Sky High, and pretend like they’re watching Max Keeble’s Big Move for the first time. Rainbow-Hair Rap Snitch’s Baby Mama Calls Him Out On IG

Source: @JustInMyView / R1 Digital Anyone who still follows Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s struggle yet somewhat successful career knows that his relationship with his baby mama, Sara Monlina, is as strained as his relationship to the streets. With that being the case, Molina has mostly steered clear of even mentioning his name on her social media, but after Tekashi allegedly referred to their daughter as “that little girl,” Sara promptly aired out the rainbow haired rapper on her IG story for disrespecting the child they share together. After initially calling him “punk b*tch,” Molina went in on her second post and broke down what her beef was with her snitch of a baby daddy. “Imma just leave it here I haven’t spoke ‘Bad’ on him for a while and when I speak on him I speak on the situations that were b...

Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz The numbers are in, and Megan Thee Stallion has a lot to be happy about when it comes to her debut album Good News. The Houston rapper’s 17-track debut album entered the week at No.2 on the Billboard 200. Good News, led by its rather infectious single “Body,” moved a total of 100,500 equivalent album units. When you break it all down, that’s 82,500 streaming equivalent album units (115.85 million on-demand streams) and 16,000 in physical album sales. This marks the third time Thee Stallion has had a top 10 project. Her previous EPs Fever and Suga were also high on the charts following their debuts. As expected, Megan couldn’t overcome the K-Pop machine with BTS landing the no. 1 spot with their latest effort, Be, which came in with 242,000 equivalent...

Many Billions: Bad Bunny Is Spotify’s Most-Streamed Artist of 2020

It’s difficult to overstate the importance of Bad Bunny’s achievement. Latin music is increasingly visible worldwide, high-profile collaborations between Latin and non-Latin acts have popped up throughout the year, and Latin names regularly top YouTube’s global charts. On Spotify, J Balvin has placed among the top 5 most-streamed artists on the service since 2018. But Bad Bunny’s accomplishment marks the first time an artist that has never sung in English tops the year-end list. On the global top albums list, Bad Bunny’s YHLQMDLG is followed by The Weeknd’s After Hours, Post Malone’s Hollywood’s Bleeding, Harry Styles’ Fine Line and Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia. As far as songs go, The Weeknd got some vindication after his Grammy shutout; his “Blinding Lights” is the most-streamed song of 2...

SPIN has always highlighted the under-heralded, but an uncountable number of amazing songs have fallen through the cracks since the publication’s 1985 launch. It’s hard to scratch the surface in a list of this size, but consider this chronological mixtape a fun attempt.  Many of these selections are personal — cherished, semi-obscure tracks that deserve a bigger audience. The Most Influential Artists: #6 2Pac

As part of our 35th anniversary, we’re naming the most influential artists of the past 35 years. Today, we’re at #6. From California, here is 2Pac. CREDIT: Al Pereira/Michael Ochs Archives/Getty Images 2Pac died at 25. He’d only released four albums when the fatal shots ripped through his BMW in Las Vegas. Despite the brevity of his life, Tupac Amaru Shakur lived so many lives at once. Rapper, actor, activist, thug, convict, inmate, martyr—his impact on rap and popular culture remains indelible.  Named after a Peruvian revolutionary and born to a Black Panther, 2Pac was almost fated to reject authority and speak for the disenfranchised. His adolescent love of acting and poetry translated to his music. The thespian, poet, and self-proclaimed thug (despite no gang ties) who eventually a...
