Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz Ever since the Grammys announced their 2021 nominations this week, fans have been witnessing their favorite musicians emotionally react to past, and present snubs on social media, including ten-time nominated artists Nicki Minaj and Wiz Khalifa. Both achieved commercial success have yet to win an award for their work. However, emotions quickly turned sour once Cardi B exposed shady online activity from the “Young, Wild & Free” rapper who responded to a petty Barbz fan slamming her debut album success. It all started from a response the “Super Bass” rapper shared on Twitter referencing her Grammys snub back in 2012 when she lost Best New Artist to Bon Iver. “Never forget the Grammys didn’t give me my best new artist...
Source: Frazer Harrison / Getty DJ Khaled has never seen a high-profile project he isn’t willing to co-sign. The Miami DJ, producer and all-around hype man took to Instagram to reveal he will be hosting renowned Trump supporter Lil Wayne‘s forthcoming new No Ceilings 3 mixtape. “They always try to put a cieling on our greatness. So we too the f*cking ceiling off,” says Khaled, talking his usual ish, and sipping on some tea. The man born Khaled Khaled shared snippets of a couple of tracks from the project. One featured Drake kicking some fiery bars over a buttery smooth track. The other was Lil Wayne going in over Lil Baby and 42 Dugg’s “We Paid.” Could it be that Lil Wayne is dropping new music to make us forget he was rolling with the orange-colored President who lost the election? MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson, who celebrated the 30th anniversary of his getting sober in March, was asked in a new interview with “The Chuck Shute Podcast” how he avoids the temptation of alcohol while spending so much time around people who drink on the road. “I’m the alcoholic,” Ellefson explained (see video below). “I’m the one that reacts strangely to alcohol and cocaine and heroin and drugs. So it’s me — it’s when it goes in my body that the problem happens in my life. If you wanna put it in your body, rock on, by all means. “It’s not a temptation,” he said. “Look, I take the daily measures needed to make sure that I am spiritually fit and mentally and physically fit to not have that come into my body an...

He said (see video below): “The plan right now with SLIPKNOT is to try and a) finish up the touring next year, and b) we’re thinking about kind of putting another album out maybe next year. But I don’t know. I don’t know what the plan is yet. I just know that we all kind of feel like there’s unfinished business and we wanna finish that out before we do anything. But I know that we were talking about doing it, ’cause we only have one album left on our contract [with our record label].” Last month, SLIPKNOT percussionist M. Shawn “Clown” C...
We’ve heard the old adage of turning water into wine, but what about turning your mom’s bathtub into a swimming pool? SM1LO and Rich DietZ are on a quest to redefine the expression with their new single, “Bentley Coupe.” The track hits hard in both its production and in its comedic flair, flooring the gas pedal to create the ultimate feel-good bop with positive messaging during a time when we all need it most. “Bentley Coupe” is one of those songs that will stay stuck in your head long after it’s over, with punchy synths, booming bass, and roaring sirens. Behind the hilarious lyrics, which harken to transforming your “father’s truck into a Bentley Coupe,” is the optimistic outlook of believing in one’s dreams. SM1...

Van Morrison (photo by Philip Cosores) and Eric Clapton (photo by Majvdl via Wikimedia Commons) Looks like Van Morrison has pulled Eric Clapton into his suckhole of pseudo-science bull. The legendary musicians have teamed up for a new anti-lockdown protest single called “Stand and Deliver”. Morrison has been speaking out against the United Kingdom’s COVID-19 restrictions since the summer, particularly as they relate to live music. In September, he launched an anti-lockdown song series that included the tracks “Born to Be Free” and “No More Lockdown”. In spite of the fact that such measures have helped the country start to see a flattening of its infection curve even as one in every 185 people in Morrison’s native Northern Ireland test positive, the Astral Weeks singer apparently hasn’t evo...
Latin trap and reggaeton king Bad Bunny has returned with El Último Tour del Mundo, his third album of 2020. Stream it below via Apple Music or Spotify. El Último Tour del Mundo follows YHLQMDLG, which came out in February, and Las Que No Iban a Salir, which dropped in May. It appears Bad Bunny is giving “O VISTO ASÍ” the single treatment, too. The album cut is accompanied by a flashy music video filled with graffiti-filled skateparks and celebrity photoshoots. You know you’ve made it when you can casually call up people like Ricky Martin, Sofia Vergara, and Karol G to star in your song’s visuals. Check it out below. Th...

Drakeo was charged with benefiting from a murder he didn’t commit, and the Stinc Team was labeled a gang. While Drakeo fought his case and spent almos...
