Anitta to Host Her Own ‘Anitta and Friends’ Podcast: Exclusive
Brazilian star Anitta, who has proven to be as amusing in conversation as she is performing, will now have her own podcast. Titled Anitta and Friends, the podcast will launch this quarter and will feature a wide array of guests in discussions that will be rooted in music. The show is part of an exclusive podcast deal Anitta inked with podcast platform PodcastOne, which will also produce the show. The platform, a subsidiary of LiveXLive Media, is also home to Pitbull’s From Negative to Positive podcast and The Adam Carolla Show, among many others. Queen guitarist, astrophysicist, and friend to all animals, Brian May has been fighting to protect badgers for more than a decade now. The small omnivores are often slaughtered in the UK to reduce the spreading of bovine tuberculosis. For his latest campaign to save the creatures, May has released a new perfume line that’s not only dedicated to badgers, it actually smells like them, too. The aromatic product is called Save Me, which also happens to be the name of a 1980 Queen single penned by May. Its product page lists fragrance notes like pink pepper, jasmine, sandalwood, and musk, but according to the nose of one reporter from The Sun (via Stereogum), the combination of earthy tones results in “a hint of clean badger fur.” Yum.
