SNL Releases Sequel to Middle-Aged Mutant Ninja Turtles: Watch

Earlier this year, Saturday Night Live aired an animated short imagining the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in their middle ages. Now, just in time for Christmas, SNL has gifted us a sequel. Watch it below. The second installment once again finds Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael faced with the stark reality of being middle-aged, out-of-shape turtles whose day jobs are now in cubicles working customer support. They wear New Balances, ride the Peloton, and one of them is diabetic — but doesn’t know it. Michelangelo suffers from impotency, Donatello is disappointed to learn his daughter is choosing not to come home for Christmas, and Raphael is still coming to to terms with Donald Trump’s election loss. Middle-Aged Mutant Ninja Turtles was conceived and written by Kyle M...

It’s set in the Irish countryside, and stars Emily Blunt and Jamie Dornan, two very attractive people. But as I watched a very odd man played by Dornan buzz around his romantic feelings for a very charming woman played by Blunt, something began to nag at me. Somewhere in the distance, outside the movie itself, I heard sirens. I could tell that the Accent...

Trump Supporter Lil Pump Is Not the Father of That Baby He Claimed

Source: Ethan Miller / Getty Donald Trump-supporting rapper Lil Pump is not the father. It turns out the guy is not the daddy of the baby he claimed was his. Go figure. Basically, Lil Pump is still an elite level troll and that whole drama with a baby mama thing was a scam. Reports TMZ: Earlier this week, Pump posted a pic — taken last Sunday on a yacht in Miami — holding a baby boy. Cute and nothing out of the ordinary … except the caption shocked his 17 million followers: “Baby momma ain’t s**t won’t let me see my son #fathers right.” That created a big stir on social media, and in the hip-hop world … with several outlets reporting Lil Pump had disclosed he was a father for the first time, and was dealing with baby mama drama. But, as MJ put it … the kid is not his son!!! Sources tell TM...

EDDIE VAN HALEN Honored With ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ By ‘The National Guitar Museum’

Every year for more than a decade, The National Guitar Museum has given its “Lifetime Achievement Award” to a living guitarist who has contributed to the legacy of the guitar. The guidelines are straightforward: the person must have been a performing or recording artist whose talents had an effect on guitar playing — and whose career inspired and influenced other guitar players. This year, the year of the pandemic, has given The National Guitar Museum reason to make an exception to its annual presentation. For 2020, The National Guitar Museum is recognizing Eddie Van Halen as the recipient of its “Lifetime Achievement Award.” It is being awarded, for the first time, in memoriam. The National Guitar Museum says: “It is perhaps fitting that we don’t need t...

SNL’s Colin Jost Was Forced to Read a Joke About His Own Wife Scarlett Johansson’s Poor Casting Decisions

As has become tradition for Saturday Night Live’s Christmas show, Weekend Update co-anchors Colin Jost and Michael Che carve out a segment to read jokes they’ve written for each other without seeing them beforehand. It typically manifests in some hilariously cringe moments, like when Jost is forced to read jokes that make him look like a racist asshole. For tonight’s episode, however, Che actually got Jost to roast his own wife. In recent years, Scarlett Johansson has twice faced criticism for taking on roles she had no business playing. In 2017, she starred in an adaptation of the Japanese manga Ghost in the Shell. The following year, she was cast to play a transgender man in a film called Rub and Tug, but ultimately dropped out of the project amidst backlash...

E-40 vs. Too Short in ‘Verzuz’ Battle of Bay Area Icons: See Billboard’s Scorecard & Winner For the Showdown

Here’s how Billboard broke down each round between the two generation-spanning rap vets, with the overall winner announced at the end.  Round 1: Too $hort’s “Freaky Tales” vs. E-40’s “Da Bumble”  Too $hort kicked off round number one with the speaker-rattling classic “Freaky Tales.” E-40’s “Da Bumble” was a good counterattack, but it wasn’t as hard-hitting as $hort’s first choice to clinch the opening round.  WINNER: Too $hort Round 2: Too $hort’s “Life Is…Too $Hort” vs. E-40’s “Captain Save A Hoe” Too $hort’s “Life Is .Too $Hort” rang through the NorCal soundstage, but it wasn’t enough to top E-40’s 1993 classic “C...
