In her new visuals to “Lose Each Other” the artist/director uses a couple that uses dance artistry to tell a story of, well, we’re not good dance readers like that, but it looked like a debate over where to eat dinner or something. Nice touch having Elton John man the piano while all that performance art stuff was going on. BUCKCHERRY Announces Live Concert Stream
As with most touring artists, BUCKCHERRY‘s 2020 touring plans were upended in March with the onset of the coronavirus. The band was forced to postpone or cancel close to 75 shows. On November 11 at 5 p.m. EST, BUCKCHERRY will premiere a live show in partnership with the streaming platform LiveXLive Media. The 75-minute performance will include songs from across BUCKCHERRY‘s 21-year career. The stream will be available for an additional 48 hours for video on demand. Tickets for the stream are $10 with an optional VIP bundle featuring a personal virtual call with vocalist Josh Todd and guitarist Stevie Dacanay for $60. Tickets can be pre-ordered here. Former WHITESNAKE guitarist Adrian Vandenberg has come under fire for sharing an unflattering meme of Melania Trump. On Monday (October 19), the Dutch musician posted a side-by-side photo comparison of a space alien and America’s first lady, and he included the following caption: “THEY ARE AMONG US! Be careful and cautious guys! Unless you don’t mind getting abducted, probed and brainwashed of course. In that case: enjoy the ride! Former SEPULTURA and current SOULFLY frontman Max Cavalera is sporting a new and somewhat shocking look. The Brazilian-born musician apparently cut off his trademark mono-dreadlock earlier this week, if his wife’s social media is anything to go by. On Monday (October 19), Gloria Cavalera, who also manages Max, took to her Instagram to share a photo of her holding Max‘s hair, with her newly shorn husband standing next to her. Tegan and Sara’s High School Memoir Being Developed into TV Series
Last fall, indie pop duo Tegan and Sara released their first-ever memoir, High School. That book is now being adapted into a TV series by filmmaker and actress Clea DuVall. High School traced the origins of the Calgary-born Quin sisters, from their days spent raving in the’90s to their current status as both pop music and LGBTQ icons. The forthcoming coming-of-age comedy, also dubbed High School, follows suit. Thirteen musicians from bands such as Refused, Mastodon, Korn, Run-DMC, Anthrax, Filter, and more have joined forces to cover the Faith No More song “We Care a Lot”. The collaboration was organized by Slaves on Dope members Jason Rockman and Kevin Jardine, who contribute vocals and guitar to the performance, respectively. The actor has announced he’ll be playing the late, great B.B. King in a new biopic about the legendary musician.
