Lindsay Lohan Tweeted at Taylor Swift With No Context & Fans Are Confused

Lindsay Lohan, it appears, is a Swiftie. The actress took to Twitter over the weekend to share a cryptic tweet tagging Taylor Swift…with no message. Fans as expected, were left puzzled and frenzied trying to come up with what the context of this tweet could possibly be. Some thought Lohan is simply a fan who would like to be noticed, pointing out her comments on one of Swift’s Instagram Lives last summer. Others thought the tweet could be surrounding buzz over the Swift-approved hype for a film adaptation of folklore cut, “The Last Great American Dynasty.” “I KNOW TLGAD IS COMING WITH A MV STARRING VARIOUS HOLLYWOOD ACTORS THE COLLAPSEEEE WILL BE HARDER THAN WHAT BAD BLOOD CAUSED OMFG,” one fan theorized. See some responses below. lindsay is a swift...

SEVENDUST’s LAJON WITHERSPOON Admitted To Emergency Room After Cutting Himself With Knife

SEVENDUST singer Lajon Witherspoon has been admitted to the emergency room after he cut himself with a knife. Lajon took to his Instagram earlier today (Monday, September 14) to share a photo of him at Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City, and he included the following message: “Accidents do happen can’t believe I’m the ER thanks everyone at saint lukes. Haven’t been in a emergency room since 1975. Cut my finger with a Swiss Army knife. stitches and all”. Witherspoon‘s injury comes less than two weeks after SEVENDUST announced its first-ever livestream and its only show of 2020: “Sevendust: Live In Your Living Room”. The event will take place on October 23 — the release date of the band’s 13th studio album, “Blood & Ston...

Where Death Lies – CARNATION

RATING: 8/10 There are insufficient hours in the day to immerse oneself in all of the fantastic death metal being released this year, but CARNATION‘s second album immediately stands out as a superior creation. 2018’s “Chapel Of Abhorrence” was a solid introduction to the Belgians’ rampant mix of old-school hooks and infernal churn, but this outstrips it by some margin. The key to CARNATION‘s potency lies in their gloriously naturalistic blending of deathly sub-strains. Opener “Iron Discipline” erupts with the belligerent, war-hungry intensity of prime VADER. There are insidious ripples of blackened dissonance woven through the riffs, and a thuggishness to the delivery that owes a significant debt to the ugly end of the early ’90s Americ...

Throes Of Joy In The Jaws Of Defeatism – NAPALM DEATH

RATING: 10/10 It has been five years since NAPALM DEATH released its last album, “Apex Predator — Easy Meat”. The longest period between their releases is finally over, as the forefathers of grindcore have returned with their sixteenth full-length release, “Throes of Joy in the Jaws of Defeatism”. The passionate, sociopolitical outlook of frontman Barney Greenway and company was inevitable and almost seems requisite in the face of the current state of global turbulence. The wait has been worth it, to say the least. “Throes of Joy in the Jaws of Defeatism” is the best album the Birmingham bruisers have released in years, if not their entire career. The album touches upon the various eras of the band’s storied career. It’s overflowing with the ...

COREY TAYLOR Blasts Defiant Anti-Maskers: ‘F**k You’

Corey Taylor has blasted people who are defiantly skeptical of mask wearing, saying they are posing a risk to themselves and to all those around them. The SLIPKNOT and STONE SOUR frontman made the comment during an appearance on the latest episode of Dean Delray‘s “Let There Be Talk” podcast. Asked how his hometown of Las Vegas has handled the coronavirus pandemic, Taylor said: “It burned up again, because our mayor is a dipshit. This thing is gonna fucking — it’s gonna keep doing that until it evens out, man. It’s gonna keep doing it until we get a vaccine, to be honest, or at least something that can prevent. “Vegas, it’s up and down. There are still a bunch of fucking mooks with no masks on at the casinos,” he continued. “And, ...

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver Renewed for Three More Seasons

HBO has announced a three-season renewal for its award-winning satirical news show Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. The new deal will keep John Oliver dissecting socio-political shortcomings and feuding with Connecticut towns through at least 2023. “We’re all extremely happy to be able to continue to do our show on HBO for another three years, or until the end of the world, whichever comes first,” said Oliver in a press statement. Since Oliver moved from The Daily Show correspondent to premium cable host in 2014, Last Week Tonight has earned two Peabody Awards and an astounding 16 Emmys. That includes four last year, including taking home the Outstanding Variety Talk Series trophy for the fourth year running. It will have a chance to extend that streak to five at this year’s ceremony, w...

The Mountain Goats Reveal New Single “Get Famous”: Stream

Next month, The Mountain Goats will drop their second album of the year, Getting Into Knives. A first preview came via “As Many Candles As Possible”, which featured contributions from Al Green’s own organist Charles Hodges. The indie outfit is now sharing another single in “Get Famous”. While most wish for popularity and success, The Mountain Goats are making us seriously reconsider these lofty dreams. The new song encourages listeners to follow their ambitions, but paints fame as something not at all worth coveting. Or as a press release succinctly puts it, frontman John Darnielle sings the title “as if it were a curse.” “Cold, grey world/ All these obedient sheep/ They act like they know, but they’re all sound asleep/ You arrive on the scene like a message from God/ Listen to the people ...

Donald Trump Wants Joe Rogan to Moderate a Four Hour Presidential Debate

Because we’re all dead and this is hell, Donald Trump would like Joe Rogan to moderate a four-hour presidential debate. Rogan himself pitched the debate format on a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast with retired MMA fighter Tim Kennedy. Kennedy asked Rogan what his approach would be, and Rogan said, “First of all, I would want nobody else in the room. Just the three of us. And I would want to stream it live so no one can edit it.” So far, so expected, but Kennedy and Rogan act as if they’ve invented something remarkable. “Why can’t we have that?” Kennedy asked. “We should have that, it’s 2020,” Rogan replied. “We have the ability to have that. We’re not talking about 1979.” Nobody pointed out they had just invented television. Afterwards, Kennedy tweeted abo...

John C. Reilly, Tim Heidecker, and Fred Armisen Take Flight in First Moonbase 8 Teaser: Watch

This past weekend marked the 58th anniversary of John F. Kennedy’s famous Moon Speech, given in Houston to promote America’s Apollo program to put a man on the moon. To coincide with the occasion, Showtime has released the first teaser for its space-themed comedy series Moonbase 8, starring John C. Reilly, Tim Heidecker, and Fred Armisen. Due to premiere sometime this fall, the TV show follows three subpar astronauts who live and train at NASA’s Moon Base Simulator in Arizona. The goal is to one day qualify for a lunar mission, but their lack of expertise proves to be more than just a minor hurdle. Today’s teaser trailer shows us some of the basic exercises and tasks assigned to this goofy trio — and how they’re all so easily botched. Let’s just say JFK probably wouldn’t wan...
