During a September 8 Facebook Live chat. ICED EARTH founder, songwriter, guitarist and producer Jon Schaffer was asked if he has any intention of ever going into politics. He responded (see video below): “I’m too much of a rabble-rouser. I’m not politics material. I’m not politically correct. I’m never gonna say things that I don’t believe in because somebody’s lining my pockets. I have no interest in that garbage. And I think there’s a few people out there like that, but they’re few and far between. But still, it’s really not a thing that I’m interested in.” He continued: “I spend a lot of time and energy trying to get people to do some research. I’m not trying to convince somebody of anything. In a brand new interview with the Philadelphia radio station 93.3 WMMR, KORN drummer Ray Luzier revealed that he is working on a “rock book.” He said (hear audio below): “It’s not about, like, ‘Oh, Mr. Rock Star guy.’ It’s about getting signed, getting dropped, getting this promised this and then me joining national bands. But 50 percent of my book is David Lee Roth, ’cause eight years with that guy, you can’t make that stuff up. And I love him to death — he’s the most amazing, one of the best entertainers ever. But there’s a lot there — there’s a lot of content. “A lot of people don’t realize out there, they think your favorite band, they just think, ‘Oh, they got signed and they’re huge and th...

They said that ‘it was just a really great thing that Slash had been talking about you,’ and, ‘Why don’t you use that?’ And when I read ...

IN FLAMES’ ANDERS FRIDÉN Doesn’t Think Summer Festivals Will Return In 2021

Vocalist Anders Fridén of Swedish veteran metallers IN FLAMES spoke to Finland’s Kaaos TV about what the touring circuit might look like post-pandemic. He said (see video below): “We don’t have a [projected] date [for the return of live concerts]. If we at least had a date, where people in control could say, ‘Okay, January 1st, you can go back to do what you do. But our whole business is pretty much on hold. Everyone that’s working for us and around us — agents, people that work on stage — I mean, everyone [is] affected by this, of course. And it’s not that easy to start this machine immediately like that. And I don’t think politicians realize that. It’s not like we take a guitar and go play a show. It’s not that easy, especially for a ...

Sia Joins David Guetta on New Single ‘Let’s Love’

It’s been nine years since Sia and David Guetta released their chart-topping single “Titanium” and the pair has proven yet again that their musical bond is just as solid as titanium itself. On Thursday afternoon, they shared their latest collaboration, “Let’s Love,” which initially saw its sort-of debut on TikTok earlier this week. In an effort to “get over difficult times together,” Guetta let fans join in on the #LetsLove challenge all week with 15 seconds of the song up for grabs, but now it’s time for the song to challenge the charts. “Let’s Love” is as enormous of a track as you’d expect from the two. A sharp and synthy ’80s keyboard riff from Guetta backs up his hard-hitting drums, as Sia’s pipes sound just as bold as they did back in 2011 and in their numerous other collab...

Drake Shares A Picture of Adonis Going To His First Day of School

Source: WENN/Avalon / WENN Feels like just yesterday Pusha T shocked the Hip-Hop world when he revealed that Drake was hiding a child from the world and the world from his child. Since then Drizzy has owned up to being that baby’s father and while we’re not entirely sure just how involved he is in baby Adonis’ life, he’s recently shared a new pic of his first child going to his first day of school. With his blond hair cornrowed to the back of his dome, Chrome Heart gear and all-black Air Force 1’s, little Adonis seems ready to stunt on his peers just like his multi-platinum daddy does on his. Heck, he’s even rolling up to school in a black SUV like a baby don. Most of us grew up taking public transportation. Remember train and bus passes with the hologram on em? An obviously proud Drake se...

Budden has been accused by his ex, Tahiry Jose, for being physically abusive during their time together. A leaked recording of a phone conversation between himself and his former fiancée Cyn Santana also hinted at the “Pump It Up” rapper got physical with her as well. On top of that, court documents that also “leaked” revealing Joe allegedly likes to help his dog release sexual tension by masturbating the sexless canine, and Santana, followed by Twitter, was quite disturbed by the practice. Yesterday (Sept. 9), the Boston Celtic’s star forward Jayson Tatum posed with an exclusive pair of the Air Jordan 35 which boasts a rather “What The” kind of colorway which features grey, black, blue, red, orange, and yellow all over the new silhouette. No word on when these joints are set to drop or for how much (we figure north of $200), but whenever they do we’re sure heads w...
