MANOWAR bassist Joey DeMaio has told Sergi Ramos of Spain’s The Metal Circus that the band is using the coronavirus downtime to work on several projects. “We are currently completing a DVD and Blu-ray of our first-ever show in Mexico with an amazing 8K video production,” he said. “We’re in the studio recording songs for the next EP, ‘The Final Battle II’, and we are already preparing the massive production for our 40th-anniversary tour that will kick off in spring 2021.” Four years after announcing its “farewell” tour, only to later clarify that MANOWAR has no plans of calling it quits, DeMaio is not ruling out a 50th-anniversary celebration in 2030. “No one can say what the future will bring, nor can we relive the past,R...
Former THE BLACK CROWES drummer Steve Gorman says that he understands why guitarist Rich Robinson would want to deny that he turned down an offer to write music with Jimmy Page. In his book “Hard To Handle: The Life And Death Of The Black Crowes”, Gorman said that he learned from Page that the legendary LED ZEPPELIN guitarist wanted to write songs with the Robinson brothers for what at the time was supposed to be THE BLACK CROWES‘ next record, but that Rich blew him off with a “No thanks! … We don’t need more songs.” “I was insulted,” Page allegedly said to the drummer, who furiously called THE CROWES‘ manager and told him, “I’m driving to Connecticut, and I’m going to kill Rich in his home.” In a brand new inter...

If you’ve ever wanted to get your hands on Fyre Fest merch, here’s your chance. U.S. Marshals are auctioning off leftover merchandise from the ill-fated event in order to pay back victims of the fraudulent event. The 126 lots include a variety of items, including Fyre Festival hats, hoodies, sweatpants, wristbands, and tokens. According to Mashable, the bids started between $5 to $65, depending on the item. Sitting with The Breakfast Club, the D-O-Double-G spoke his mind as he’s known to do regarding his mentor and producer, Dr. Dre, who gave the Long Beach, Calif. OG his big break back in the early ’90s and broke the career of several other artists after his tenure with N.W.A. was in the rearview. When the conversation turned to Dr. Dre’s massive influence and legendary status as a producer, Snoop passionately championed his longtime friend by noting his ear for talent and how he...
