One pair down, one to go! Up until tonight’s Double Shot at Love episode, Vinny and Maria, as well as DJ Pauly D and Nikki, had not spoken since everyone was reunited in Las Vegas. But that all changed when Vinny decided he was “sick of all this awkwardness” and opted to chat with Maria. Being lit after a night out at Drai’s will help get the ball rolling… “I feel like I shouldn’t have to be the first one to go up to you in any regard,” Maria told Vin. She then referenced Vinny choosing Alysse during Season 1, adding, “I wasn’t the one who hurt anybody or lied to anybody.” “You turned into a f*cking troll,” he responded about her tweets regarding him after the conclusion of Double Shot Season 1. “There̵...

Flume’s Highly Anticipated Remix of Eiffel 65’s “Blue” Mysteriously Vanishes from Beatport

EDM superstar Flume recently took on one of dance music’s most recognizable anthems ever, serving up a remix of the Eiffel 65 classic “Blue (Da Ba Dee).” After he teased the remix on his Instagram, it was actually posted to Beatport yesterday, July 1st. However, just a short time after going live, Flume’s “Blue” remix seems to have completely vanished from the Internet.  Beatport searches offer no help in finding the remix, and links embedded into news stories now produce a 404 error. On YouTube, a slew of imitation remixes have appeared, calling to mind the age of LimeWire track misnomers and misdirecting marketing attempts by bedroom producers. Searches of Flume’s social channels also yield no news of exactly wh...

Fallout Video Game Getting TV Series Adaptation from Westworld Creators

Amazon Prime Video is opening the Vault on a new TV series based on the hit Fallout video game franchise. The project is being spearheaded by Westworld co-creators/executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy as part of their overall deal with Amazon Studios. Originating from a turn-based role-playing game in 1997, the Fallout series has stretched eight games over the course of two decades, as well as the mobile game Fallout Shelter. The games’ story thrusts American ideals and visions of the future from the 1940s into a post-nuclear apocalypse in the 2100s and 2200s. After international war over natural resources turned the world into a nuclear wasteland in 2077, the games’ protagonists are forced to wrestle with previous generations’ failed hopes of nuclear energy while surv...

Josh Klinghoffer Reunites with Flea on New Pluralone Single “Nowhere I Am”: Stream

Josh Klinghoffer was let go by the Red Hot Chili Peppers last year in order to make room for the return of John Frusciante. Despite the sudden lineup change, Klinghoffer later described the situation as “pretty simple” and without any “animosity.” Proving that there’s indeed no bad blood between the two acts, he’s released a new single called “Nowhere I Am” featuring current RHCP bassist Flea and former founding drummer Jack Irons. Officially credited to Pluralone, Klinghoffer’s solo project, the track is painted with swirling, almost psychedelic, strokes, making for a dreamy and blissed-out listening experience. “‘Nowhere I Am’ is one of those songs I feel has a universal message that everyone can understand, then I remember how abstruse I can write sometimes,” Klinghoffer told SPIN. “I s...

NFL to Play Black National Anthem Prior to Week 1 Games: Report

Rosamond Johnson. It was first performed as part of Abraham Lincoln’s birthday celebration in 1900, and was named “the Negro national hymn” by the NAACP in 1919. The decision to play “Lift Ev’ry Voice And Sing” prior to week one games is part of a variety of measures the NFL is planning in recognition of victims of police brutality and systemic racism, ESPN reports. The league also may list the names of victims on jerseys and ...
