Denver-based musician Decadon is one of bass music’s brightest rising stars. He’s proven that sentiment time and time again with his unique blend of hard rock guitar riffs and relentless bass sounds. Now, he’s back to cement his title as The Don with a new EP of the same name. Decadon’s latest is a heavy-hitter by all accounts, showcasing his talent for creating genre-bending earworms and bringing forth something new to the realm of dubstep. His The Don EP represents some of his best work to date. EP opener “Say Hello” kicks things off in a big way with one of cinema’s most recognizable quotes from Scarface and an energy that lets us know that The Don isn’t playing around. The guitar riffs in the buildup do...

Unannounced and unaware, fans were stunned to see the illustrious Erykah Badu take the stage at the Coyote Drive-In in Fort Worth, Texas over the weekend. Considering Rebillet never has a setlist and improvises each and every performance, creating every track on the spot, fans were blown away at how seamlessly the two artists collaborated. As you can see from the short clip below posted on Twitter, the duo had a lot of fun letting loose during a time where there are almost no concerts. The featured clip is quite short, but those who weren’t able to make it to the Texas outing might be in ...

The popular subreddit r/The_Donald, home to many Donald Trump supporters and one of the nastiest, most unwelcoming places on the Internet for years, is officially no more. The virtual hive for MAGA fanatics has been banned by the higher-ups at Reddit due to newly defined hates speech guidelines. Reddit’s updated anti-hate speech measures led to the shut down of nearly 2,000 other subreddits, including r/darkhumorandmemes, r/gendercritical, and r/wojack. All had allegedly been in violation of the site’s updated content policy page, which declares that subreddits and users who “incite violence or that promote hate based on identity or vulnerability will be banned.” The new policies are a huge about-face for a website that long resisted calls to police even its most egregious content und...
In the past, Thom Yorke has provided the BBC with sleepy bedtime music, as well as more experimental playlists. Lately, the Radiohead frontman has been lending his curatorial skills to Sonos Radio, where he’s in charge of a 24-hour station called “In the Absence Thereof”. Last month, we got a taste of his first Sonos Radio mix, an expansive collection featuring everything from Iggy Pop and James Blake to Duke Ellington and Oneohtrix Point Never. A playlist for his second Sonos Radio mix has now arrived, and it promises a similar wide-ranging selection of material “that fascinates or moves” Yorke. Among the highlights on Yorke’s latest list of “influences and obsessions” are Sonic Youth rocker Kim Gordon, elusive R&B connoisseur Jai Paul, Maryland rappers JPEGMAFIA and Rico Nasty, and e...
