According to Page Six, the veteran television host is set to take over the slot previously occupied by Hardball host Chris Matthews until his abrupt exit from MSNBC amidst accusations of inappropriate behavior. Reid, who currently hosts the morning show AM Joy, has filled in for the network’s prime-time stars including Rachel Maddow and Chris Hayes. The experience helped solidify Reid as a perfect fit for the suddenly opened slot, after Matthews, who’d been hosting “Hardball” on the network since 1999, quit after accusations of “inappropriate comments,” including flirting with a guest off camera. It was all capped on Sunday (June 28), when she delivered a sexy performance for the socially distant BET Awards. Megan’s pre-recorded performance began with her newest single, “Girls in the Hood,” which released on Friday (June 26). She appeared out of a Mad Max fantasy: Rolling up in a desert scene on the back of a stripped-down motorbike, she wore knee-high lace-up boots and an S&M bralette decked out with silver O-rings; her shoulders were covered with red and black feathers, while her long hair streamed behind. As the lyrics to the song ...

The video starts out with the superstar singer-songwriter in a bleak, warehouse-esque environment dancing by herself. Her world then begins to shift when she picks up a flower and is transported to a cherry blossom-filled city and park with picturesque vegetation.
