Eric Prydz Announces New Cirez D Vinyl Release
Eric Prydz never sleeps. Whether under his main alias, his more proggy Pryda pseudonym, or the techno-oriented Cirez D, the man is essentially a production machine. Fans of the Cirez D project will be elated to know that a brand new vinyl is on the way from Prydz. “Valborg” was previously released digitally in May, after Drumcode boss Adam Beyer shared a recording from when he played back-to-back with Prydz at last year’s Creamfields. Now, the single will see its vinyl release on July 3rd, which should delight audiophiles looking to add some new techno to their libraries. Tekashi 6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj have unveiled a new collaborative single called “Trollz”. Stream the new release below. In 2018, Fugazi members Ian MacKaye and Joe Lally debuted their new band Coriky during a concert in Washington, DC. Rounded out by Amy Farina, MacKaye’s spouse and co-founder of The Evens, the group is now sharing their first album. Stream the self-titled release below via Bandcamp. The album features MacKaye on guitar, Lally on bass, and Farina on drums, with all three contributing vocals. The trio plays a tight-knit variety of punk-ish alt-rock throughout the LP, a fitting fusion of the members’ previous outfits. Kicking off the National Music Publishers’ Association’s annual meeting Wednesday, the organization’s president and CEO David Israelite applauded RIAA CEO Mitch Glazier for his leadership in pulling together around 65 music trade groups to lobby Congress for CARES Act relief for self-employed music industry workers. Glazier himself applauded the industry for coming together and noted that in times of tragedy, artists are quick to respond, playing live concerts to raise money for any number of worthy causes. “But sometimes they are not so good at raising money for themselves” in their own time of need, he said. Priscilla Rainey claimed the Game assaulted her during his VH1 reality show She Got Game. Now the rapper is paying, literally, for blowing off her case. Reports Bossip: Judge Virginia A.
