Lilac Festival 2024: Parking, music and what's new this year  Democrat & Chronicle

Austin City Limits has officially unveiled its lineup for its 2024 edition.The annual event is set to take place at Zilker Park over two weekends on October 4 to October 6 and October 13 to October 15, with Dua Lipa, Tyler, The Creator, Chris Stapleton, blink-182, Sturgill Simpson and Pretty Lights headlining this year's festival. Ariana Grande surprised attendees last night at the Met Gala with her first performance in five years. One of two performers at fashion's biggest night out, Ariana Grande played a seven-song set of her biggest hits while FKA twigs also performed. As a part of her performance, Grande performs her 2016 hit single "Into You," the first time since 2019 as well as her debut performance of tracks from her newest eternal sunshine album. Grande opened with her rendition of the "Once Upon A Dream" track from Sleeping Beauty and sang "7 rings," "the boy is mine" and "yes, and?" Police are currently investigating a shooting outside of Drake's Toronto mansion. Shots were fired outside the rapper's Bridle Path estate, leaving one of his security guards injured.Per Toronto police inspector Paul Krawczyk, the shooting occurred at 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning when the security guard was standing outside the entrance to the home.Authorities have yet to confirm whether or not Drake was inside the house at the time of the shooting. The victim is still in the hospital with serious wounds.Krawcyzk also added in the press conference that the shooting was captured on video and the suspect fled the scene immediately after the incident.
