How’s this for a Mother’s Day surprise? Late on Sunday, Kendrick Lamar dropped “The Heart Part 5,” his first new song in five years. The timing couldn’t be better for the Compton rapper: his new album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, is out this Friday. Lamar shared the song’s release in a simple tweet. As for the song itself, the wait was well worth it. Along with it came a video (directed by Lamar and Dave Free), where Lamar used a series of deepfakes to morph into O.J. Simpson, Will Smith, Kanye West, Jussie Smollett, Kobe Bryant and Nipsey Hussle. The video opened with a statement that read “I am. Twin Peaks Actor Kenneth Welsh Dies at 80

Canadian actor Kenneth Welsh—best known for his portrayal of the villain Windom Earle in David Lynch’s Twin Peaks—has died. Welsh’s son, the musician and former Majical Cloudz member Devon Welsh, revealed the news on social media yesterday (May 7). “My dad passed away on Thursday peacefully at home,” Welsh wrote on Twitter. “I will always love him beyond words. He lived a wonderful life, he was the best father I could have asked for, and he touched so many lives.” Kenneth Welsh was 80 years old. Kenneth Welsh was born on March 30, 1942 in Edmonton, Alberta.
