M Huncho Taps Yung Bleu for Transatlantic Link-up “Who We Are”
Following up on his recent solo effort “The Worst” along with his two collaborative singles with Giggs (“Lean”) and Headie One (“Warzone”), North-West London artist M Huncho, has released his latest pre-album record, tapping Alabama-born rap star Yung Bleu for “Who We Are”. Underpinning Benjamin Lasnier and Pilfinger’s slow-rolling trap production, this smooth, transatlantic effort sees the two rappers use their Auto-Tuned melodies in full effect as they rhyme about their new found fame and success, and what it took to achieve it. A Bob Dylan Museum Is Opening in Tulsa This Weekend
Tusla, Oklahoma is getting a museum dedicated to celebrating the work of Bob Dylan. Slated to open this weekend, the Bob Dylan Center will see Elvis Costello, Patti Smith and Mavis Staples attend the launch. Dylan himself, however, is not expected to be present, although the 81-year-old musician performed in Tulsa only a few weeks ago on one of the last dates of his Rough and Rowdy Ways tour. The Center, designed by architect Alan Maskin, will be home to the official Bob Dylan Archive, a collection of more than 100,000 items spanning nearly 60 years of Dylan’s career. Arcade Fire Drafts Beck, Feist For We World Tour Dates
In tandem with the release today (May 6) of its new album, We, Arcade Fire has announced a fall world tour with support from Feist in Europe and Beck (playing an acoustic set) in North America. The band is also making its previously announced fifth appearance as the musical guest on NBC’s Saturday Night Live tomorrow. The European leg begins Aug. 30 in Dublin and runs through Oct. 1 in Warsaw. The North American portion kicks off Oct. 28 in Washington, D.C. and wraps Dec. in Toronto. Just as Sonic the Hedgehog 2 surpasses its own first installment to become the top-grossing video game adaptation of all time, Netflix has now teased another upcoming 3D animated series based around the blue speedster.
