Boulder, Colorado-based dance music duo Big Gigantic have announced their eighth studio album, Brighter Future 2, as well as a summer tour. The announcement is paired with the release of “Keep It Rising,” a collaboration with Grammy-nominated musician Aloe Blacc, who is perhaps best known in electronic dance music circles for his timeless vocals in Avicii’s “Wake Me Up.” This is the first time in more than a decade that the beloved electronic-funk duo and Aloe Blacc have released music together. Meow Wolf‘s Vortex festival is officially headed to Denver. The event, which originally started in Taos, New Mexico, is produced in partnership with Live Nation and will take place August 5th to 7th. In addition to the move, organizers have also announced a huge lineup, with headliners Neil Francis, Duke Dumont, Toro y Moi, Bob Moses, 100 Gecs and more. Just a few days after announcing its title and release date, Future has shared the tracklist for his upcoming new album I Never Liked You. Out this Friday, the LP will land as the Atlanta rapper’s ninth studio album and features a compact but star-studded roster of guest artists. Travis Scott will perform publicly for the first time since Astroworld 2021. Last year, the rapper’s music festival ended in tragedy with a total of 10 deaths and hundreds of injuries after crowds surged and trampled concert-goers. After performing at two private events this year, the rapper is going public with his performances again headlining three Primavera Sound festivals in South America.
