Coachella 2022: aespa Make Their US Live Debut

Rising K-pop group aespa played their first US live show on Saturday night, and the setting, of all places, was the main stage at Coachella. In a video that aired during the ceremony, Eilish sits in girl in red’s tour bus at weekend two of Coachella, waiting patiently for her friend to come aboard. “I am about to surprise girl in red with the Spellemann Album Of The Year award,” she explains, before the artist, born Marie Ulven, enters the bus. “What the actual fuck?” Ulven exclaims. “That’s a Norwegian Grammy, you know?” Ulven asks incredulously. “I am aware,” Eilish says. TRIVIUM Will Focus On Touring Before Beginning Work On Another Album

In a new interview with Decker of Wisconsin’s WZOR (Razor 94.7/104.7) radio station, TRIVIUM guitarist Corey Beaulieu was asked if he and his bandmates have begun working on material for the follow-up to 2021’s “In The Court Of The Dragon” album. He responded (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “No. There’s always material. During our downtime, I wrote some stuff, just ’cause I needed something to do and I had a couple of riffs, and I was, like, ‘Screw it. I’ll just kind of start working on it.’ And then there’s fragments of songs or demos of songs that maybe someone… I know I have a couple of things I wrote and demoed for the last record, but when you have three people in the band writing song ideas and riffs and stuff, b...

New ALTER BRIDGE Album ‘Should Come Out In September’

ALTER BRIDGE guitarist Mark Tremonti spoke to Niclas Müller-Hansen of RockSverige about the progress of the recording sessions for the band’s new album. He said: “Drums are done and bass is starting today [April 19]. I go in next week. We all went in to do pre-production. Myles [Kennedy, vocals] and I write demos and then one by one we’ll go through the demos until we’re satisfied with the record. We arranged 14 songs and then the producer’s, like, ‘Hey, here’s the moment of truth: we have to cut two of them.’ That’s the worst thing, so me and Myles were, like, ‘We’ll both cut one of the songs that we brought.'” Tremonti went on to say that the follow-up to 2019’s “Walk The Sky” “should come out...

SHINEDOWN’s ZACH MYERS ‘Couldn’t Care Less’ About Not Being Nominated For A GRAMMY

In a new interview with Dave Doran from Rock 105 and 95.5 radio stations, SHINEDOWN guitarist Zach Myers was asked how he feels about the fact that his band will be eligible for the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in a few years. He responded (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “Ah, I don’t care. It’s the same thing as the Grammys to me. To me, when [SHINEDOWN‘s third studio album, 2008’s] ‘The Sound Of Madness’ had six Number One songs on one record in the year that it came out, when that hasn’t been done since… I think Adele did it, and it really hasn’t been done since. It hadn’t been done in probably 15 years before that. And it didn’t get nominated for a Grammy. [So] I was like there’s not a physical way I could care ...

PUDDLE OF MUDD‘s acoustic performance of the track at the SiriusXM studios was uploaded to YouTube in January 2020 but didn’t blow up on the video-sharing platform until three months later, with detractors blasting Scantlin‘s off-key take on the iconic song.
