Don’t say we didn’t warn ya: “There’s always more to the story.” Just when everyone (us included) thought Juliette and Sam were over on Siesta Key, the tables turned. Apparently, Sam went over to Juliette’s house to play checkers chat, and she said that if he ever wants to talk to her again, he needs to “stop inviting these girls around.” And while Juliette was hesitant to get back together because of “how embarrassing it would be” following those social media pics, Sam seemed visibly hopeful. “I love and care about the girl so much, and if it turns out that we start dating again and everything’s good, that would be amazing,” he said. So Sam sent Meghan from Miami pack...
There are multiple Nic Cages on display in the new meta action-comedy The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent: the financially struggling actor with a penchant for lavish purchases and hotel stays that would bankrupt the budget of Vermont; a less-than-attentive father who means well but is quickly losing the patience of his teenage daughter; and, above all, the artist devoted to his craft. Oh, and there’s also Nicky, the Vampire’s Kiss-era Cage who haunts the real Nic Cage, who is there to remind the thespian that he’s first and foremost a movie star. For Nicky, it’s less artsy, more fartsy. So, then, I wonder what Nicky, with his glued-on pompadour and leather jacket, would think of his flesh and blood counterpart’s newest (and welcomed return to) big screen joint? My guess is he would lo...
It’s been exactly 585 Fridays since Rebecca Black released “Friday.” In that time, she’s gone from a 13-year-old with pop star dreams to one of the most eternal and viral internet sensations of all time to an electronic alt-pop singer capable of putting on one of the most over-the-top and ridiculous Coachella DJ sets in recent festival history. During her early Saturday evening “Rebecca Black & Friends” set at the Do LaB, Black introduced a wide variety of guests, including Big Freedia, bass phenom Blu DeTiger, and Slayyyter (with who she collaborated with last year) — while also busting out a stadium-style t-shirt cannon to fire into the crowd shirts reading things like “REBECCA BLACK REPLACED KANYE WEST AS THE COACHELLA 2022 HEADLINER” and “I LIKE REBECCA BLACK AND I CAN PROVE IT DUE...

Both that album and Young Blood were recorded at Auerbach’s Easy Eye studio in Nashville. Unlike El Dorado and King’s three earlier albums backed by his regular live band, Young Blood is a trio record featuring bassist and longtime Auerbach collaborator Nick Movshon and drummer Chris St. Hilare, who played percussion on El Dorado. The album’s first single, “Hard Working Man,” is a thumping love song with classic ‘70s rock vibes and one of King’s kookiest choruses to date. [embedded content][embedded content]...
