The Smile Detail Debut Album, Share New “Free in the Knowledge” Video: Watch
Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, and Tom Skinner have revealed details of their first album as the Smile. It’s called A Light for Attracting Attention and it’s out May 13 via XL. Today, they’ve shared the video for “Free in the Knowledge,” which Yorke premiered solo during an October performance in London before airings by the trio in January. Watch the Leo Leigh–directed video below. The Radiohead duo and jazz drummer unveiled the Smile project last spring when they announced a surprise appearance at the livestream-only Glastonbury festival. A$AP Rocky was arrested today at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) in connection with a previously unreported 2021 shooting, the Los Angeles Police Department announced. He was arrested on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon (firearm), according to the LAPD. TMZ and NBC News were first to report the news of A$AP Rocky’s arrest. According to the outlets, the rapper arrived LAX on a private plane traveling from Barbados before he was detained. Pavement is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the album that started it all, Slanted & Enchanted, which was released on this day 30 years ago on Matador. To celebrate, the band and label are reissuing vinyl and cassette pressing exclusives in honor of the anniversary.
