Wilco Announce Yankee Hotel Foxtrot Deluxe Box Set Reissues With Unreleased Tracks
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, Wilco have announced multiple deluxe reissue editions of the landmark 2002 album featuring previously unreleased recordings. They’re all due out September 16 via Nonesuch. The band has shared a 2002 live version of “Reservations” from the box set. Check it out, and watch the band’s Late Show With Stephen Colbert performance of “Poor Places,” below. The super deluxe edition is available as an 11xLP (plus single-CD) box set or an 8xCD collection. It includes 82 previously unreleased tracks and a book with new liner notes from Bob Mehr and interviews with Jeff Tweedy, Glenn Kotche, and Jim O’Rourke. Netflix Loses 200,000 Subscribers, First Loss in Over Ten Years
Netflix has reported a loss of 200,000 subscribers so far this year — the first time the customer base has declined in 11 years. As Bloomberg reports, the bleeding may have only begun. In an earnings report, Netflix said it expects to lose an additional two million subscribers in the second quarter of 2022. This is despite the fact that Netflix signed up an additional one million new users in Africa during the first quarter. Ezra Miller Arrested Again in Hawaii, Charged with Second-Degree Assault
For the second time in as many months, Ezra Miller has been arrested in Hawaii. Per a police report, the star of The Flash was taken into custody at around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday morning for allegedly throwing a chair that struck a woman in the head. Law enforcement responded to a call at a private residence in Pāhoa at around 1:10 a.m. They determined that Miller “became irate after being asked to leave,” whereupon the actor allegedly hurled a chair in the direction of a 26-year-old woman. The victim was left with a half-inch gash on her forehead, though she declined treatment for the injury.
