Ohio State University Honors Van Halen During Spring Game Halftime Performance

The Ohio State University Athletic Band performed a striking and impressive halftime show in honor of Van Halen last weekend at the school’s spring football game. Ohio State first caught the attention of rock fans when t...

The HBO dramedy has never strayed far from depicting the brutal repercussions of hit-man Barry’s (Bill Hader) decision to attempt transitioning out of the assassination-for-hire game for a new life as an actor. But the stakes feel even higher now, with reason for serious concern not just for the lives of every character in Barry’s circle, but their souls. That means yet more of the brilliantly nuanced character work nurtured by creators Hader and Alex Berg, but also yet more of the show’s unconventional action and fascinating directing choices. With the cast all returning at the top of their game, the only potential concern one might have about the new season o...

100 gecs’ Set Ends Abruptly at Coachella 2022

On Saturday, 100 gecs made their Coachella debut—unfortunately, it was cut a bit short. Then, the sound abruptly cut out. The crowd shouted “gecs! gecs! gecs!” before Brady and Les retreated backstage. Representatives for the band offered no comment when reached by Pitchfork. Prior to launching into “Money Machine,” Les addressed the crowd, saying: “We just got a couple more for ya tonight.” But “Money Machine,” or at least, part of it, was their final song for the evening. Best Stoner Movies of All Time

Getting toasty stoned and streaming a flick is a marriage that was made in Hollywood heaven ages ago. With that, we’ve pulled our nine favorite stoner movies from the archives in which marijuana is the muse. Pineapple Express (2008) When the star of this film is a government-classified strain of weed, you know you’re in for some good shit.
