Faye Webster Announces New EP, Listen to ‘Car Therapy’

Faye Webster has a new EP on the way. Titled Car Therapy Sessions, the EP is set to be released on April 29 via Secretly Canadian. The collection is comprised of new and re-imagined songs performed with a full 24 piece orchestra. To accompany the EP announcement, Webster is sharing the title track “Car Therapy” and its music video directed by Sean Valdivieso. On the EP, there are three reimagined orchestral arrangements of songs from Webster’s 2021 release I Know I’m Funny, Haha and 2019’s Atlanta Millionaires Club. The tracks “Kind Of,” “Sometimes” and “Cheers” will undergo a lush and whimsical transformation. Rick Springfield and Zoot Cancel Australia Tour

Rick Springfield’s long-overdue homecoming reunion tour with Zoot has been scrapped. “It is with much sadness and disappointment that we must announce that the Zoot tour of Australia is cancelled,” reads a statement issued Wednesday (April 13) from DRW Entertainment, producer of the multi-city trek. “Much has changed in the two years since we announced the tour, and individual members of the band, whilst excited about the potential offered by the tour, are now unfortunately not in a position whereby they can move forward with the tour as scheduled,” the message continues.
