A rare copy of the first issue of Captain America Comics has just sold for a record $3.1 million USD. The near-mint book was sold on auction earlier this week, with its price starting at a whopping $1.8 million USD over at Heritage Auctions. Once bidding started, the book’s value jumped immediately to $2.2 million USD, and before long the copy was sold for a grand total of $3.12 million USD.
