Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood’s The Smile Unveil New Single “Pana-vision”: Stream

Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood have unveiled “Pana-vision,” their latest single as The Smile, a supergroup with Sons of Kemet’s Tom Skinner. Stream it below. Foo Fighters Sweep Grammy Rock Categories

Foo Fighters swept the Grammy rock categories tonight (April 3) during the pre-show Premiere Ceremony at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Conference Marquee Ballroom. The group, whose drummer Taylor Hawkins died suddenly last week in Colombia, won best rock album for Medicine at Midnight, best rock song for “Waiting on a War” and best rock performance for “Making a Fire.” As expected, no band members were on hand to accept their trophies, having announced last week that they were canceling all future performances in the wake of Hawkins’ death. LAMB OF GOD frontman Randy Blythe says that he “wouldn’t mind” playing a show in the Czech Republic again if the circumstances were “right.” In 2012, Blythe was arrested in the Czech Republic and charged with manslaughter for allegedly pushing a 19-year-old fan offstage at a show two year prior and causing injuries that led to the fan’s death. Blythe spent 37 days in a Prague prison before ultimately being found not guilty in 2013. Former DREAM THEATER and current THE WINERY DOGS drummer Mike Portnoy has revealed that he has tested positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. The 54-year-old musician, who lives in Pennsylvania, shared his positive diagnosis with his 521,000 Instagram followers on Saturday (April 2). St. Vincent won Best Alternative Music Album for Daddy’s Home during the Grammy Premiere Ceremony earlier today (April 3) at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Conference Marquee Ballroom. Daddy’s Home was co-produced by St. Vincent’s Annie Clark and Jack Antonoff and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Independent Albums chart. A new film adaptation of The Crow will star Bill Skarsgard and FKA twigs, Deadline reports. Skarsgard, who previously portrayed Pennywise the Clown in Andy Muschietti’s It films, is set to play Eric Draven in the new imagining of the comic book story by director Rupert Sanders. “The Crow is beautiful, dark, poetic and sometimes disturbing,” Sanders said in a statement. “It is a story of love, loss, grief and revenge.
