Just two days after Sony announced its Game Pass equivalent for the PlayStation, Microsoft is now looking to hit back with a new offering for the Xbox subscription plan. According to new reports, the gaming giant is now looking to launch a family plan for Xbox Game Pass that’ll allow up to five different players to access the same account. The move marks a big departure from its current format, which only allows one user per account. Disney+ Is Looking to Enter the Anime Market

Having already created an anime series based on its massively popular Star Wars franchise, Disney is now looking to create more anime content for its streaming service Disney+. Calling anime a “focus area,” the company’s Japan head of animation Takuto Yawata says that he is confident the genre “will open a new door” for Disney+ and that “We have great expectations for producing local content. this includes completely new works from Japan.” He added that the integrity of the content will also be respected, and the shows won’t be changed to appeal more to western audiences: “We deeply respect the works of Japanese creators, and we will transmit them overseas just the way they are.” The comments come shortly after Netflix revealed its own viewership for anime across 2021. The Grateful Dead offshoot, which features Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, and Bob Weir alongside John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge, and Jeff Chimenti, will kick off the 20-date outing at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium on June 11th.
