FX has unveiled the first trailer of its upcoming true crime series Under the Banner of Heaven, which stars Oscar nominee Andrew Garfield. The miniseries is based on Jon Krakauer’s 2003 nonfiction book of the same name and sees Garfield as Detective Jeb Pyre, a Mormon detective whose faith is shaken when his investigation of the grisly 1984 murder of Brenda Wright Lafferty, portrayed by Daisy Edgar-Jones, and her 15-month-old baby seemingly uncovers a relation to the Church. Deftones have canceled their summer dates in Ukraine and Russia, the band announced today (March 29). “With deep regret, we will be cancelling our Ukraine and Russia shows in July,” Deftones wrote. “We’re hoping we’ll be able to return to play soon. We hope everyone is safe.” Since Russia began its invasion of Ukraine in late February, several artists have canceled dates in both countries, including Nick Cave, Björk, and My Chemical Romance.
