CANDLEBOX ended its show last night (Saturday, March 26) in Dallas, Texas at The Echo Lounge & Music Hall with a special tribute to the late FOO FIGHTERS drummer Taylor Hawkins. The band performed a cover of the FOO FIGHTERS‘ “Learn To Fly” after CANDLEBOX frontman Kevin Martin said, “You will be missed, Taylor Hawkins, God bless.” Hawkins died at a hotel in Bogota, Colombia on Friday (March 25). Local officials said an ambulance was sent to the hotel after a man reported having chest pains. The 50-year-old musician did not respond to resuscitation efforts and was declared dead, the city’s health department said. Jeff Carson, Country Singer Known for ‘Not on Your Love,’ Dies at 58
Country singer Jeff Carson, who topped the charts with 1995 single “Not on Your Love,” has died. He was 58. Carson died of a heart attack at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee, publicist Jeremy Westby told The Hollywood Reporter on Saturday (March 26). Born Jeffrey Lee Herndon in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Dec. 16, 1963, he got his start singing in church.
