Despite playing a series of shows in to honor the 10th anniversary of their seminal sophomore album, The ’59 Sound, The Gaslight Anthem never indicated that they’d be reforming. In fact, Brian Fallon told us in 2020 he was comfortable as a singer-songwriter. However, in a tweet on Friday morning, Fallon had some big news for Gaslight Anthem fans: they’re back. Thought maybe not as dramatic as when Michael Jordan faxed in his decision to return to the NBA in 1995, the move was unexpected. If that’s not enough for fans of the New Jersey-based rockers, Fallon also said that the band is working on their sixth studio album and first since 2014’s Get Hurt. “Hello everyone, Brian here. I hate to disappoint you, but I need to inform you that there will not be a 10th anniversary Handwritt...

Following Episode 86, Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2 is now set to end with the delayed Episode 87, airing April 3. But many fans are now theorizing that the anime adaptation of Hajime Isayama‘s wildly popular manga series will be receiving a film to wrap the story up. Before the official premiere of Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2 it was announced that the season would feature 12 episodes, the upcoming Episode 87 will be the final release of the season. But fans that have completed the manga note that Episode 87 will only cover up to Chapter 127, “Night of the End.” The Attack on Titan manga’s finished with 139 chapters. Fans believe that is entirely possible that MAPPA, the studio behind the anime, will be releasing a full-length feature film to complete the anime adap...
Cardi B and Offset have officially secured a guest spot on an episode of Nickelodeon‘s Baby Shark’s Big Show! The world of Baby Shark finds itself colliding with popular culture as Cardi B lends her voice to animated character “Sharki B,” who is described as, “the biggest star in the seven seas—flashy, awe-inspiring, and ruthlessly fun—but always 100% herself and fin-spires other fishies to do the same.” Offset will be voicing the character “Offshark,” alongside their three-year-old daughter Kulture as Kulture Shark. The episode will see Baby Shark and William encounter Sharki B and her family ahead of her concert where she will be performing her new track, “The Seaweed Sway.” Sharki B asks her new friends to join her onstage after they show her around, but as the performance arrives, Will...
The long-awaited Halo live-action adaptation has finally premiered on Paramount+, and one thing that stood out for fans was Master Chief’s face reveal at the end of the episode, removing his helmet to reveal actor Pablo Schrieber. The decision to unmask the Chief has been controversial among diehard fans of the franchise ever since it was announced, but there are even more mixed feelings now that they’ve chosen to do it in the very first episode already. Now, executive producer Kiki Wolfkill has explained the decision. Speaking to Comicbook, Wolfkill says that the series very much centers around John’s character, and it would be difficult to flesh out his arc without showing his face early on. “I think when we set out to make the show, our focus was, we wanted to tell a character...
Karen Elson’s life story reads a bit like a backwards country song: World-famous supermodel becomes unknown singer-songwriter. But on “Broken Shadow,” Elson’s new single on her forthcoming third album Green, the road-less-glamourous oddly sounds like the more invigorating one. “When I was young, I let the darkness drag me down, but I’m not afraid these days,” she sings. Following her 2021 single “Lightning Strikes,” “Broken Shadow” is an inviting, country-pop song. But as the title suggests, that charming melody papers over deeper emotional territory. In the lyrics and delivery, Elson throws ambiguous winks at the themes undergirding the music’s vague sense of surrender. “[It’s] about recognizing that we’re all flawed, complicated, and a little bit fucked up,” Elson said in a statemen...

In recent years, the Rolling Stones have been steadily releasing shows from their archives.
