A new “leak” has now seemingly confirmed that the Illuminati will be making its debut in the upcoming Marvel Studios film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The suggestion comes from the latest Doctor Strange-themed issue of Empire Magazine, which included several stills from the movie itself. As shown by @Cosmic_Marvel over on Twitter, on the side of the page was a caption noting “Strange stands before the Illuminati.” For those unfamiliar, the Illuminati are a secret group of superheroes in the Marvel multiverse that occasionally meet behind the scenes and has at times included, Iron Man, Mr. Fantastic, Doctor Strange, and most importantly Professor X, whose appearance in the film was seemingly confirmed earlier by Patrick Stewart himself. Speaking with Empire ea...

Remember the name Douglas Mills. You’ll hear it again. The 18-year-old from Houston, TX, is a recipient of American Idol’s “golden ticket,” or rather, the “VIP affiliate ticket pass” from ABC Houston, redeemable for a trip to the auditions. It comes in silver, but it’s potential gold for anyone who scores one. “Music is my life, basically,” he says in the pre-recorded bit. “It’s my safe place from doubters and haters. And people who just don’t like me in general.” The route to the American Idol auditions hasn’t been an easy one for Mills. “When I was younger, I was bullied because I look different,” he explains. The cruel name calling was “very painful.” Music has helped and healed. Explore See latest videos, charts and news His song Sunday night (March 2) was “especially chosen for the Bl...

The liturgy of Oso Oso is built from finding the perfect view, feeling sand between your toes, and watching the sun rise. You know the motto: Life Is Good. Though frontman Jade Lilitri culls his sound from the malcontent and often misogynistic legacy of Long Island emo, his lyrics fawn more than they fight, staring doe-eyed at the universe. In his native Long Beach, New York, it’s easy to find the Biblical in the everyday—the vastness of the Atlantic is never more than a mile away, and the town was devastated by Hurricane Sandy only a decade ago. The sea is a running motif in his work, and on Oso Oso’s fourth record, Sore Thumb, it’s a fatal mission: “Captain of my own Titanic,” he sings on opener “Computer Exploder,” trapped in a fated battle against his own worst impulses. If emo had its...
