Second Episode of Bethesda’s ‘Starfield’ Featurette Explores Game’s Various Factions
After launching the first episode of its Into the Starfield featurette that gives fans a more behind-the-scenes look at Starfield‘s creation and development, Bethesda has now released the second episode, showcasing some of the upcoming title’s expansive world, factions and NPC interaction. Similar to Cyberpunk 2077, there’ll be three main factions to choose from. The United Colonies represent a space republic, the Freestar Collective resembles a space western frontier, and Ryujin Industries is for those who want to experience a futuristic corporate life. FromSoftware Updates ‘Elden Ring’ With Even More Quests
As if Elden Ring isn’t already expansive enough, FromSoftware has now added more NPC quests to the game. With its latest update, players will be presented with additional quests from NPCs such as Diallos, Nepheli Loux, Kenneth Haight, and Gatekeeper Gostoc. There’s also a new NPC called Jar Bairn, and there’ll be more summonable NPCs in “multiple situations.” Coupled with these additions is an improvement on tracking these characters’ locations, enabling markers on your map which also show their names. The Killers Announce Deluxe Edition of Pressure Machine
The Killers have announced a deluxe edition of their 2021 album Pressure Machine, out March 25th. Now containing 18 tracks, the expanded release features two new versions of the opening track “West Hills,” four reworkings of the album closer “The Getting By,” and a reimagining of the Phoebe Bridgers collaboration “Runaway Horses” with a full band. As with the original album, each of the new songs was co-produced by the band with Shawn Everett and Foxygen’s Jonathan Rado. In anticipation of the new Pressure Machine deluxe, The Killers will premiere a live film titled Notes from a Quiet Town featuring three stripped-back performances via Facebook on March 21st.
