Duran Duran Detail 14-Date Fall Tour
Duran Duran announced their North American headlining tour in support of their 15th and latest studio album, Future Past. General tickets for the 14-date run go on sale at 10 a.m. local on Friday, March 25. Members of the band’s VIP community can access the pre-sale at 10 a.m. local on Friday, March 18. Special guests joining the multi-platinum group for all dates include Nile Rodgers & CHIC, except the Las Vegas and Los Angeles shows. Kicking off on August 19 in Welch, Minnesota, the new wave legends’ tour will touch down in New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and more. Thom Yorke has shared a new solo song called “5.17.” Apple Music lists a second Yorke single titled “That’s How Horses Are” as coming out on April 2. Both songs were written for the British drama series Peaky Blinders. Check out “5.17” below. Massive Attack’s 3D Selling Art Prints for Ukraine Relief
Massive Attack’s Robert “3D” Del Naja has announced the sale of a new art print, where all profits will be directed to the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Ukrainian relief efforts. The sale takes place until March 22. It follows an initial print release last week, which is being extended to March 22 as well and has already raised over £110,000 (roughly $143,000). Find more information at the Fire-Sale website. It’s not the first time Del Naja has released artwork for benefit purposes. Others include a work to benefit the Bristol Food Union’s Feed the Frontline in 2020. Late last year, Massive Attack unveiled their plan to reduce carbon emissions across the music industry.
