The world of Dune is about to get even spicier. As Variety and Deadline report, Florence Pugh is close to a deal that would see her step into the role of Princess Irulan in Dune: Part Two. Anyone who’s gotten as far as page one in Frank Herbert’s classic novel will recognize the name Princess Irulan; her character is a renowned historian, and excerpts from her later books appear before every chapter. She is also the eldest daughter of Padishah Emperor Shaddam Corrino IV, who assigns Duke Leto Atreides (Oscar Isaac) to the spice-rich desert planet Arrakis. The Brian Jonestown Massacre Announce 2022 Tour Dates

The Brian Jonestown Massacre are hitting the road this year. Anton Newcombe and company announced a 2022 trek across North America, with help from special guests Mercury Rev. The 2022 tour will be the first big action from The Brian Jonestown Massacre since the 2019 release of their eponymous, eighteenth studio album. On this run, the famously turbulent Newcombe will be joined by Hallberg Daði Hallbergsson on bass, Hakon Adalsteinsson and Enrique Maymi on guitar, Uri Rennert on drums, Joel Gion on tambourine, and Ryan Carlson on keyboards. Travis Scott Announces “Project HEAL” Program

Months after the Astroworld Festival tragedy, Travis Scott has now launched his new philanthropic effort, “Project HEAL.” Taking to Instagram, the artist noted the project will serve to advocate for students, creatives, music fans, and concertgoers with an initial donation of $5 million USD. $1 million USD of the donation will go to HBCU scholarships, continuing the Waymon Webster Scholarship Fund which provides financial support for Black students. Universal Music Group Suspends Operations in Russia

Universal Music Group has suspended all of its operations in Russia and closed its offices in the country, reports Billboard. UMG’s staff will continue to receive their salaries for an undetermined period, but artists will see most of their recording activity put on hold, notes Variety.  “Effective immediately, we are suspending all operations in Russia and closing our offices there,” Universal Music Group said in a statement. “We urge an end to the violence in Ukraine as soon as possible. Sorry Announce 2022 North American Tour

Sorry have announced a North American tour that’s set to start in April. The London rock band will open for Sleaford Mods on all of the dates, except for one headlining show in Los Angeles on April 29. See the full itinerary below. The tour is Sorry’s first trek to the US since they released 925, their debut album, in March 2020.
