Sneak Peek: Teen Mom 2‘s Ashley And Bar Got Married (Without A Single MTV Camera In Sight)

Bar may have proposed to Ashley twice on camera — the first moment unfolded during their early Young and Pregnant days and the second in their inaugural Teen Mom 2 episode. But the wedding of Holly’s parents was not filmed and won’t be featured on MTV. “While the cameras weren’t around, Bar and I went and got married,” Ashley explains in the Teen Mom 2 sneak peek above. She continues: “It wasn’t even a courthouse ceremony. I just had my mom sign the documents. We didn’t take a single photo; we didn’t have a nice dinner. I literally think we went to Jack in the Box.” And while the couple is now husband and wife, the new Mrs. explains the relationship has been “super-rocky lately.” So how does Bar describe their cu...

Razer Joins In on the 60% Craze With Its Latest Huntsman Mini Analog

Razer is now joining in on the 60% keyboard craze with its new Huntsman Mini Analog. The first of its kind available on the market with Razer’s very own Analog Optical Switches, the new keyboard is able to pack exceptional precision and performance into a small, compact form factor that foregoes arrow keys, a numpad, and the function row. Since it utilizes optical switches, the keyboard can also deliver a finer degree of control by allowing users to adjust sensitivity presets or assign two functions to the same key. The former means you’ll be able to better control your throttle and steering in racing games while the latter will let you walk and sprint using the same key depending on how far down you press in an FPS or RPG. Doubleshot PBT keycaps sit on top of the switches to provide a mor...

From Rock Clubs to the Resistance

When I wrote about my glimpses of the Ukrainian rock scene in the book The Humorless Ladies of Border Control, many of the musicians I spoke to had been newly radicalized by the 2014 “Revolution of Dignity” (or Maidan Revolution), and the Russian annexation of Crimea that followed. One was Sasha Boole, a rambunctious singer-songwriter from Chernivtsi, a city in southwestern Ukraine near the Romanian and Moldovan border. We played a show together in the provincial town of Kalush. “Everyone thinks he looks just like you,” the promoter told me. “We made up a myth that you were brothers, that you fell in love with a girl but she chose Sasha, and so you went to America.” When Sasha arrived, I saw what they meant…He wore a handlebar moustache and a bowler hat and sported a tattoo of a skeleton p...

[embedded content][embedded content] Fables in a Foreign Land is set to be released on May 20. “This song starts the record for a reason, it embodies the spirit and events of what’s to come,” Doe says of “Never Coming Back.” It begins a journey that will be without comfort, where you are running from something dark, that is approaching fast. You can’t go back because there’s nothing to go back to. The entire record is set during the end of the 1890s. Thanks to Terry Allen for the extra words.” Doe enlisted guest writers Garbage’s Shirley Manson, X bandmate Exene Cervenka, Terry Allen and Louie Pérez of Los Lobos, while Kevin Smith (Willie Ne...

Young Guv’s Blessings and Curses

Young Guv’s Ben Cook briefly sums up the year he and his band spent in Taos, New Mexico, writing, hiking, cooking and experiencing the paranormal. “There’s just a lot of weird shit out there,” he says. Cook, the nucleus of the power-pop band, along with most of his live touring outfit and co-writers and producers, did what pretty much every other band did in the spring of 2020 – called off the tour. They were in El Paso, Texas, and rather than return to their homes in New York, they decided to experience true isolation somewhere new. The idea of Taos, New Mexico, an artsy, hippie-and-artist-friendly paradise a little over two-and-a-half hours northeast of Albuquerque, seemed like as good a spot as any to hunker down and figure out their next move. Originally, it seemed like more of an inco...

An empty metropolitan is divided by the second American Civil War and is set post-9/11 where internal conflict can be seen due to the U.S.’s stance of military interventionism. HBO Max’s version of the story is quite different from the Brian Wood and Riccardo Burchielli-created comic.
