Phoebe Bridgers celebrated the premiere of her SiriusXM radio show, Saddest Factory Radio, with a haunting cover of Billie Eilish‘s “when the party’s over.” Accompanied by a solemn piano and supported by additional vocals, the Punisher artist shared an equally sorrowful take on the 2018 hit, maintaining Eilish’s original musical vision. “when the party’s over” appeared on Eilish’s 2019 debut studio album WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?, which went on to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and win the GRAMMYs for Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical, while “bad guy” took home Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Foo Fighters Announce Tour Dates in Australia, New Zealand

Foo Fighters will head Down Under in late 2022 for a string of tour dates in Australia and New Zealand. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees will kick off the Australian leg on November 30th in Perth, with additional shows scheduled in Melbourne (12/4), Brisbane (12/10), and Sydney (12/12). They’ll then visit New Zealand for gigs in Wellington (12/15) and Auckland (12/17). Tickets go on sale Thursday, March 10th via Ticketmaster (using code DShr13xLiGZ). Netflix Disconnects from Russia

Netflix is the latest media company to pull out of Russia in the wake of Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. “Given the circumstances on the ground, we have decided to suspend our service in Russia,” a spokesperson for Netflix said on Sunday. Previously, Netflix announced that it would ignore a Russian law requiring media platforms to carry state propaganda channels. Now, the streamer has decided to forgo operations in Russia outright, effectively disconnecting with its nearly one million subscribers based in the country. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have agreed to match up to $3 million in donations toward humanitarian aid for Kunis’ native Ukraine, the couple announced in a social media post this week. The two actors have started a GoFundMe to provide housing and relief supplies to refugees of Ukraine following the ongoing invasion by Russia. “I have always considered myself an American, a proud American,” Kunis, who immigrated from Ukraine to the US in 1991, said in the clip. “But today, I have never been more proud to be a Ukrainian. Questlove’s Summer of Soul (…Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised) won Best Documentary tonight at the 2022 Independent Spirit Awards. It was nominated alongside Ascension, Flee, In the Same Breath, and Procession.  The film chronicles the 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival, which featured performances from Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder, Sly & the Family Stone, the Staple Singers, and many others. The film’s soundtrack was released earlier this year. Summer of Soul won the 2021 Sundance Grand Jury Prize upon its premiere.
