Unreleased ‘Jeen-Yuhs’ Clip Shows Kanye West Arguing About the Creative Direction of “Slow Jamz”

TIME recently posted an unreleased clip of Kanye West fighting for creative control over the music video direction of his Twista and Jamie Foxx collaborative track “Slow Jamz.” According to the publication, the footage was reportedly cut from Netflix‘s final version of the Jeen-Yuhs documentary. The clip takes place during the “Slow Jamz” video shoot back in 2004 where at the time, Ye had just received his first major success as a solo artist with “Through the Wire.” The clip showed that the shoot proved to be more torturous and uncovered the creative differences and logistical problems that plagued the making of the video. White Town has shared 25th Anniversary reissues of their 1997 LP Women In Technology and its lead single “Your Woman.” They’re out now via BMG; check them out below. The “Your Woman” single features a promo-only remix from producer Ben Grosse and two edits of the “Fights 2000” mix, unavailable since their original release in 1997. Phoebe Bridgers Launching Monthly SiriusXM Radio Show

Phoebe Bridgers has announced Saddest Factory Radio, her new monthly show on SiriusXM. Taking its name from the record label she launched two years ago, the show premieres March 3 at 6 p.m. Eastern, with subsequent episodes airing on the first Thursday of each month. The show will feature playback of her favorite songs and conversations with artists on the label. Last fall Bridgers and Saddest Factory signee Muna shared a video for their song “Silk Chiffon.” In December, she performed “I Know the End,” on Austin City Limits, two months after tweeting  “lol fuck acl” in response to the festival cutting off her audio near the end of her set. Beach House’s Once Twice Melody Is the Best-Selling Album in the U.S.

Beach House’s new album Once Twice Melody is No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart this week, Billboard reports. Of the 20,300 copies the band sold in the first week, over 70% of those came from vinyl sales. Once Twice Melody features 18 new songs, which were rolled out across multi-song “chapters” over the span of four months. The band are currently on tour behind the follow-up to 2018’s 7.
